Dar el Koutoubia

Lovely stay

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Dar El Koutoubia. Karim was so lovely and made us feel completely at home. The terrace was one of our favourite spots, with a lovely view of the Koutoubia Mosque.. The location was perfect, close to everything but still nice and quiet. We’d happily stay here again...

Cons: The toilet had a slight smell at first, but it went away once we turned on the air conditioner.

Stay in Marrakech

Pros: We had a beautiful roof top room with a huge terrace from which you could see the main mosque and Atlas mountains. Perfect location- close from the Medina and main sight seeing spots. There was a kitchen to share equiped with everything that you need. The owner was very friendly and kind and the local cat César was keeping us company.

Cons: It was raining heavily when we got to Marrakech and some water was getting in the room. The owner was kindly helping us to clean up. It is a rare case though, it doesn't usually rain that much there.

Pros: Great location, friendly host. Close access to major attractions and shopping. Not expensive compared to other options in the area

Cons: Fairly old furniture.

Amazing affordable

Pros: Nice quiet little place tucked away a stone throw away from the main square. Host were very accommodating and friendly. Their lovely little cat was a welcome addition to the place.

Cons: Only downside the place needs a sign to distinguish it’s actual location as very hard to determine which building it is

Pros: We enjoyed staying here!!! Great place, located very close to Medina but still peacefull. The owner was very kind and helpfull. They even have a beautiful cat named Cesar that we almost took home with us ❤️❤️

Perfect Location

Pros: The location of this apartment is perfect, the entrance to the Medina is only a few steps away and a 5 Minute walk to the square. If ever you need the pharamacy, corner store or snacks, they are all within 2 minutes away. Karim is a very good host, he attend to all my needs and can even give good suggestions for places, if ever I need help he responds fast through whatsapp. It is very clean too as the housekeeper comes everyday, but the best part is Cesar the house cat.

Cons: There were no trashcans in the bathroom.

Pros: Lovely apartment was very nice inside. The guy who checked me in was very helpful good location for Medina

Pros: Estaba muy cerca del centro y el dueño muy amable, tanto él como los vecinos.

Pros: El hombre es una persona que está super atento a todo lo que necesites

Séjour agréable et largement conforme à un tarif clairement avantageux.

Pros: La proximité avec la place (14 minutes?). Et surtout le grand parc gratuit (beaucoup mieux que le jardin majorelle et gratuit!). La proximité avec la gare routière. On y était franchement bien. On pouvait tout joindre à pied (jusqu’à au palais de la bahia par exemple). A 16 minutes de l’aéroport quand ça roule bien. Le retour était rapide (départ matinal). L’accès à la terrasse pour ceux qui le souhaitent. L’après midi le soleil baigne la terrasse. le confort de l’appartement est largement acceptable et conforme au tarif (honnête. Ce n’est pas une chambre de luxe mais un point de chute au dessus de la moyenne). Parfait pour celui qui veut loger dans un lieu honnêtement suffisant. Eau chaude RAS. La cuisine sur la terrasse est full complète. Le bruit nocturne (voir ci dessous)—> Ni les enfants, ni moi ou ma femme n’avons rencontré de difficultés à dormir.

Cons: j ai trouvé le robinet capricieux, les fenêtres et les rangements perfectibles. Mais clairement opérationnelles. Le passage des scooters peut déranger ceux qui ont le sommeil léger je pense (les fenêtres ne sont pas trop occultantes du bruit).
