Riad L'Atelier

Pros: What I loved most was the design and the attention to detail, from the entrance all the way up to the rooftop terrace. Absolutely beautiful, a true corner of paradise and peace. Also the staff’s hospitality was exceptional, incredibly generous and always mindful of every need and request I had.

Cons: What I didn’t particularly enjoy is very subjective, and others may not see it as an issue. Although the experience of staying there is very authentic and absolutely worth trying, for me, stepping outside the property became a bit overwhelming due to the chaos, traffic fumes, and noise in the area. It was interesting during the first couple of days, but after that, I found myself wanting to stay inside and enjoy the peaceful oasis within the accommodation instead. A small additional aspect would be the lighting in the shower/toilet area, which could be slightly brighter.

Beautiful Riad in central location

Pros: Riad L’Atelier is a dream come true! I had two magical nights here after a very busy tour in Morocco. The staff were wonderful and so helpful, I felt so safe as a solo female traveller. The space is thoughtfully designed and very aesthetic, the pool area is perfect for cooling off in the Moroccan heat and the rooftop was so stunning for sunset. The food and iced tea were really great too. Couldn’t recommend more!

Pros: We loved everything! Location, people, design, bed, breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt super safe, looked after and at home. Would highly highly recommended and we will be back.

Best place we have stayed! Amazing Riad and people

Pros: We have travelled the world and stayed in many places but this was the best place we have ever stayed! It is absolutely beautiful, a peaceful oasis in the middle of the busy souks. The owners and people working there are so friendly they make you feel like family during your stay. The room was beautiful, clean, amazing showers and decor! The breakfast was exceptional, we loved enjoying our breakfast on the rooftop each morning. We cannot recommend this Riad enough - you will feel at home in this beautiful accommodation and they will help you with any of your needs whilst there (for example we organised a taxi to collect us from the airport with them and they came and met us at the drop off point to help with bags). Thank you for the best stay and memories.

Pros: Beautiful spotless oasis with amazing rooftop high quality breakfast. Service is excellent and definitely will come back when in Marrakesh.

The best place to stay in Marrakesh

Pros: Exceptional Riad. All 3 receptionists were amazing. We came at night and Mohamed ( one of the receptionists came to our taxi to help us to find a way to hotel). The interior very nice, excelent breakfast. Amazing experience! One of the guys even booked a hamam for us.

Great staff, be weary of ‘local guides.’

Pros: Staff were so kind & incredibly helpful. They will organise your transfer and meet you at your taxi. Tea upon arrival was delicious. The Riad is very beautiful and very clean. The pool area was really nice & relaxing. Breakfast was delicious!

Cons: The area in which the Riad is located was not very nice, a taxi will not bring you to the door and you must walk up a dodgy street. Although it is central the street in which it is on is not very friendly. There are ‘local guides’ who target and scam tourists even if you persistently say no. The Riad also did not have a restaurant which would have been nice to be able to order a drink beside the pool.

Great location, amazing staff and best riad in Marrakesh

Pros: The staff are incredible! Super attentive and great at giving you recommendations/ guides. Location is perfect walking distance from most key attractions. The rooms are beautiful and so is the pool, the design and architecture of the road is stunning.

Staying at Riad L’Atelier made our trip to Marrakesh even better

Pros: A very beautiful Riad and amazing staff who were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was tasty and filling. We booked lunch on our first day and that too was delicious. Really comfy beds and good shower with toiletries and hair dryer/straighteners.

Beautiful and relaxing oasis nested away in the busy and exciting city!

Pros: Everything about the Riad was great, very clean, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff that are happy to help with anything. Our room was lovely and the air conditioning was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and supplied differently every morning, served whenever you like from 8:30 until 11am. I loved how even though we were right next to the busy streets of the Medina, it was very quiet inside the Riad and felt like a real hidden gem. An oasis where you can relax by the pool, sunbathe on the rooftop where there are straw hats supplied. There was even yoga mats on the roof so I could do a Pilates session. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us many tips and recommendations, we had a traditional Hammam spa experience which was very good! Overall, we had the best stay at Riad L’atelier and would definitely go back again.

Cons: There’s nothing I didn’t like but the only thing I would warn people about is the bathroom in our room (room 3) basically part of the bedroom. Perhaps not ideal for those who prefer privacy when using the toilet, but there is a toilet downstairs by the pool for everyone to use so we didn’t have an issue!
