Pros: The Riad was an absolute oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling medina. We found the property to be of outstanding quality and we loved the decor and the details. It was comfortable and clean and the staff were all wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you. Helping reserve tables at restaurants, taking you to said restaurant and trying to help book tickets for attractions, no job was too small and all was done with such grace. Thank you especially to Abdou the manager, who was fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Dar Dounia and would definitely stay again next time we come to Marrakesh

Cons: We loved everything about the property. One tiny little thing was the water pressure in the shower but it wasn’t a massive problem.

Pros: One of the best properties I ever stayed at. So beautifully curated The room we stayed in was excellent, and whole Dar is so charmingly equipped. Having breakfast next to the water in the morning, or sunbathing on the rooftop. Most importantly, Mourad and also the other staff members have been excellent and so caring to make our stay special. Whatever we needed, we got it instantly, also e.g. support with detailed directions to parking, restaurants etc. Very memorable!

Very authentic medina experience away from the souks

Pros: The Riad is such an oasis of calm and beautiful decorated. The team are also very kind and helpful especially Mourad who looked after us so well and made sure we knew how to get to the nearby restaurants and souks and organised everything for transport to and from airport.

Pros: Quite relaxed atmosphere. The hotel can give you a Moroccan SIM card for free and set up a WhatsApp group with you so you don't need to worry about getting lost in Marrakech.We had dinner at the road which was excellent.

Pros: The staff were exceptional. They would anticipate and make necessary arrangements which always turned out to be suitable and well thought out. In particular I would like to mention Abdool Karim for his friendliness, knowledge and remarkable assistance and personality. Among his friendly and helpful staff I would to list Mourad. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend it.

Pros: Riad Dar Dounia Review Our stay at Riad Dar Dounia was absolutely wonderful and truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of in every possible way. The service was flawless, warm, and genuinely personal. Abdul and Mourad were especially incredible — always kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They made us feel welcome right away and treated us more like guests in their home than customers. No request was ever too much, and they made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. The riad itself is stunning: beautifully decorated, peaceful, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. Making it a calm and relaxing atmosphere that’s a true escape from the busy streets of Marrakech. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and outstanding hospitality in Marrakech.

Pros: Friendly and professional, hosts Abdul Karim and Mourad looked after us exceptionally well. Nothing was too much trouble, from organising taxis to finding a heater to boost the slightly chilly temperature in the room. Loved the traditional feel to the building. Clean and comfortable. Good location for medina sightseeing.

Cons: Room and lounge a little cold at times, but the staff did what they could to help. It's February, so natural heat from sunshine not guaranteed. Outside spaces on rooftop would benefit from heaters so they could be enjoyed more at this time of year.

Pros: Karim And Mourad were excellent hosts. We had a wonderful stay.
