Riad Maison Arabo-Andalouse

A beautiful, historic riad in the perfect location.

Pros: The breakfast was varied and of an excellent standard. The service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. The staff was very friendly and we were most comfortable for the entire stay.

Cons: Nothing.

Wonderful stay at Maison Arabo-Andalouse.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Maison Arabo-Andalouse. The riad is even more beautiful than the photos, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. From the warm welcome with tea and pastries to their helpful advice throughout our stay, everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was generous and varied, served in a cozy room with a fire in the fireplace—such a lovely touch. We were especially grateful that after our very early flight was canceled at the gate, we were able to return to the riad. Dinner that evening was excellent—the best tagines we had in Morocco. I highly recommend this riad not only for its charm, but for the people who make it so special. I’m very glad I chose it.

A lovely home from home!

Pros: The staff and owner were all super friendly and made you feel very much at home. The room was gorgeous and full of character, and was in a great location for easy access to all the sites.

Pros: The host Hassan is a kind person, very attentive and always ready to help. The room was spacious and very clean.

Great riad stay!

Pros: Hassan and the team were such lovely hosts. We had a warm welcome with mint tea and sweet treats upon arrival and lots of good advice about places to visit. The room was comfortable and the breakfast each day was filling and delicious. Great location, nice and quiet but close to all the major attractions which were within easy walking distance. Taxi transfers were conveniently organised for us to and from the airport.

An excellent stay at a very welcoming riad

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Riad Maison Arabo-Andalouse. We were made incredibly welcome by Gianpaulo, Hassan and all the team - thank you for your excellent hospitality and help throughout our stay. The location is great, being quiet, yet close to many of Marrakesh’ attractions. Our room, with balcony overlooking the riad was authentic and peaceful, allowing us to relax between our visits into the hustle and bustle of the centre. We would stay again.

A beautiful riad in a relaxed area with welcoming staff and manager.

Pros: This is a beautifully renovated, very comfortable riad in the southern medina. Staff are friendly and helpful and manager Hassan was kindly and keen to advise--offering suggestions as to what to do and where to go but never pushing an agenda. We did take him up on a suggestion of a trip to a hamam and it was an excellent choice. Breakfasts were varied and large. This part of the city is slightly quieter than the northern area around the souks, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. There are good restaurants nearby and some fascinating areas--the kasbah is close--as well as beautiful palaces to visit and mosques to admire.

Cons: I can't think of anything we didn't like. We had a fabulous time and this charming riad, its staff and its location was a big part of that.

Pros: The riad was beautiful and peaceful, in a quiet street at the edge of the medina. We had two rooms which were decorated differently (one more modern, recently done, the other less so) but both charming and big, with plenty of furniture. Houdaifa and the staff team were incredibly kind, available at all times, and good with recommendations.

Cons: The water flow in the shower (room in the top floor) stopped a couple of times. I did not raise it with the Riad as we were already leaving but I should have, I am sure they would have explained or sorted it out.

Pros: Wonderful staff: welcoming, friendly and helpful. Fab location, walking distance to the Medina, local supermarket and taxi rank. Riad is beautiful, inside and out. The terrace is lovely for some fresh air into the room and an evening cup of tea.

Great experience

Pros: A beautiful traditional Riad, close to the hub of Marrakesh. Personal attention by management, with very relevant do’s and dont’s, making for a memorable stay.
