Riad La Porte des 5 Jardins

Pros: The house is the traditional local house - riad - with a long history in the heart of ancient part of the city, it gives you the filing of the history of the place. You can get to the main sightseeings just within 5-25 minutes walking on foot, so taxi is not needed at all. The owner is very welcoming and friendly person, who will help you with any issue.

Cons: The lighting in the room was too dim.

Pros: The staff were amazing and accommodating. It felt as though we were staying with family. It was home from home. Breakfast was fantastic too. And the order of the Riad was so kind and helpful. Me and my friend would definitely come back to stay here again !!!

Cons: The swimming pool chlorine was strong

We enjoyed our stay with Louisa but just felt a bit cramped. Well priced compared to a lot of properties in Marrakesh

Pros: Nice and quiet but near to the busy market. Louisa’s Breakfast coffee was great

Cons: The room was small with nowhere for bags or clothes. Very dark lighting.

Fabulous riad, very welcoming hostess 😁

Pros: The hostess was fantastic and welcoming. She welcomed us personally and made sure we were settled and comfortable in our spacious clean room. The riad is beautifully restored and maintained. The breakfast was fabulous and always had freshly baked bread made that morning. It's location is brilliant for the souks with several great good value restaurants very close by too. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Cons: There is nothing I didn't like.

Pros: Everything, it is a calm Riad, well kept and clean.

Pros: Lisa was very helpful. The room was well equipped with a kettle also!

Pros: Riad was lovely, as all the reviews says Louisa is a great host she only speaks French so get your french skills on or use Google translator as we did, the room was big she provided toiletries and towels, there is a mini fridge and kettle and an ac in the room, basically it's good basic Riad don't go expecting luxury. it's right in the main region the souks and everything is so accesable, ask Louisa for any information she is very good with everything, we had good breakfast content and happy with the trip, the host is 5 star in the whole trip. ps: didn't like the dark rooms but it's almost same in every Riad over in Marekkesh

Lovely visit, would recommend for a simple stay

Pros: Great location in the Médina, taxis can’t drop you directly outside but only a 2 minute walk from where they do drop you. Isn’t loud at all. Has a nice roof terrace on top too. Louisa is helpful, makes breakfast every morning of bread, pancakes and eggs. Room has AC.

Cons: Louisa doesn’t speak any English at all so is a challenge if you don’t speak French - I just about managed with basic GCSE French. Room was very basic and didn’t have all the amenities listed but overall lovely stay!

Pros: Lovely Riad in great location inside the Medina. Host was very welcoming and made us mint tea and pancakes on our arrival. Lovely traditional room. We were made to feel very welcome.

Cons: Host can't speak any English so have Google translate app to make it easy to communicate

Pros: The hostess was super nice and helpful, the place clean and beautiful, great location.
