Really suggested, breakfast fantastic as food and location as well.

Pros: Location very good Room really big and comfy and really clean. Not perfect isolation of the room due to the typical architecture but fully solved by the heated A/C.(first week of February)

Excellent stay!

Pros: Beautiful accommodation in a great location. The service was absolutely incredible. Ibra made us feel so welcome when we arrived and took so much time and care to make sure we were settled in. Our room was beautiful and really quiet - we really couldn’t hear a lot of outside noise. Breakfast was lovely, so much food to set us up for the day. On our last morning we had to leave really early and the staff went out of their way to make sure we left fed. If I’m ever back in Marrakech I will absolutely stay here.

Unbelivable experience ... a special hotel in a special old city

Pros: Thjis place is INSIDE the old city (really inside!), you have to reach it by foot (taxi stop 200 meter away and you have to walk INSIDE the suk). Place inside is amazing! you would not guess it from outside. Staff super kind. From a feedback of other hosts (super nice Irish people) this Riad is one of the most spacious despite the only 4 rooms available!!! ps. KUI-ZIN restaurance suggested by staff was super.

Cons: A suggestion: put a banner or an indication for better finding the entrance door :))).

Pros: Beautiful riad. Well maintained though keeping the feeling of authentic Moroccan style. Good location, lovely breakfasts and very helpful stuff.

Great Marrakech experience

Pros: Its location is perfect, everything was accessible on foot. Staff were fantastic, very friendly, and very helpful. Always on hand to answer questions

Cons: Just needed a bar, the rooftop was a lovely space to relax. Some of their recommendations didn’t match up with reviews. Advise, Always check first.

A great break for Winter sunshine at a superb venue.

Pros: The stay was lovely and Ibra, Sana and the rest of the Afous team were wonderful. The roof top terrace is a delight in the middle of the crazy Medina!

I loved staying here and would come back without any hesitation. It was a great experience!

Pros: The breakfast was beautiful every morning. I really enjoyed this little moment daily. The location was also very convenient. It was only a 2 minute walk from the taxi drop off which made finding the riad easy and I didn’t have to carry my suitcase through the Medina for too long. This was something I was a bit hesitant about as I had seen previous videos from other travellers staying at different riads in the Medina and having to walk through so many dark paths. I didn’t have this problem at all at Riad Afous. I also felt safe as a solo traveller exploring and walking at night thanks to the location. I’d highly recommend Riad Afous to anyone travelling to Marrakech and wanting to stay in the Medina. The staff were lovely and attentive. They helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs and were able to provide great recommendations. The rooms were also very cosy, clean and quiet.

Cons: I can’t fault anything I had a really comfortable stay.

Excellent accommodation in a good location

Pros: Nicely furnished and decorated property, located in the heart of the medina but still quiet at night. Great view from rooftop terrace. Staff is very kind and helpful, particularly Asaref. Local breakfast is yummy. Size of the room is massive.

Cons: Alley outside of the building is not so nice and a bit dirty, but this is no fault of the riad of course and also quite normal in Marrakesh

Exquisite!!

Pros: The nicest people. Sana and her sister are wonderful, and make us feel very welcome and make a very good breakfast. Ibrahim is the best host. The Riad is just a little palace. This the perfect location to explore Marrakesh: In the Medina, on a 5 min walk from the taxis to all places around Marrakesh.

Cons: Nothing at all.
