La Ferme Medina

Delightful and exceptional oasis in a perfect location

Pros: This is an exceptional place to stay on all counts. The location on the edge of the souks gives instant access to the heart of the medina but feels safe at night and is accessible by taxi. The rooms are generously proportioned and open onto a stunning oasis of plants and mature palm trees, filled with the sound of birdsong and running water - a beguiling contrast to the constant activity in the street outside, which you can watch from the rooftop terrace where you'll eat a superb breakfast of Moroccan soupe blanche with dates and honey, fruit & yoghurt, pancakes & flatbreads with almond butter, cream cheese and jam, olives, eggs and meats. The restaurant is popular in the evening as well, with a longer menu than most and a variety of almost private spaces to eat, either indoors or above or beneath the trees. Excellent 200 Mbps WiFi was available with just a couple of hiccups during our stay. Friendly and tirelessly helpful staff complete the picture.

Pros: Stunning garden or better jungle Riad, walking distance to attractions in Medina but yet a quiet and calm place (day and night) to escape the buzzling streets of Marrakesh. Great stuff, great food, beautiful dining areas and terraces to have a breakfast in the morning sun (veggie options as well) and waking up to the sound of birds! How amazing! Plants and beautiful greenery!

Pros: The abundant greenery beautifully blurs the lines between the indoors and outdoors. It creates a refreshing and tranquil atmosphere that feels both natural and inviting. The strategic placement of plants enhances the living space, offering a constant connection to nature. This design choice truly fosters an outdoor-indoor living experience. We were amazed with how the plants contribute to the overall ambiance.

Cons: Too noisy at night! Very vibrant!

Pros: Perfect locaction, kind and helpful stuff. Nor'din helped us to feel at home. I will definitely choose this hotel next time.

Lovely stay reflecting the kindness of the Moroccan people.

Pros: The garden was lovely and the staff very accommodating. The room was large and the heating and bath much needed

Cons: There was a charge for a second cup of tea or coffee (3.50) during the free breakfast.

Excellent stay at the Le Ferme medina. Would recommend

Pros: Wow! The property is excellent. Right by the traditional souks, you enter into a rainforest paradise and leave the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh behind. The rooms are set off from a central courtyard where you eat your meals and everything is well maintained. The rooms, surroundings and staff were all excellent and so friendly.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great. Maybe more English speaking staff.

Nice and relaxing place.

Pros: Hotel was very nice. Staff was very helpfull and fullfilled all our wishes, example refrigerator for our room. Location was good.

A peaceful garden escape in the heart of the medina

Pros: It was a great stay! The view in the morning is beautiful — when you open the door of your room, you find yourself right in the middle of a garden 🌿 Such a peaceful atmosphere. The location is perfect, in the heart of the medina and easily reachable. You can park your car right in front of the hotel, and if not, there’s a parking area very close by. The food was delicious — especially the chicken pastilla 😍 The staff were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely come back!
