Best food in marrakesh. Charming Riad

Pros: The staff are the star of this riad and so is the food. The staff go above and beyond and are always accommodating requests and will suggest what is best. The welcome is great. The riad itself is so charming and full of charactef. It us about 20 mins walk to the main square jmaa el fnaa. Walking back and fort at any time feels safe. The riad is bdautiful and compact with 7 rooms. The room is comfortable with the addition of AC if needed. Theres plenty of beddings. The shower is food and they have a hair dryer too. The food is great. We had lunch and it is most delicious. The breakfast included in tbe pri e is abaolutely stunning. It is hot, varied, plenty to keep you going thought the day. They gave us mint tea when we arrived and its the best... i will book again for the hispitaloty, chara ter and food

Cons: High pillows, so i slept without

Pros: Perfect location when arriving by bus from Eassouria, was within easy walking distance from the bus station. Very comfortable and clean, superbly friendly service, the dinner was amazing I really enjoyed it and the breakfast offered a great selection too. The hammam and massage package were excellent and just what I needed after a long day travelling. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cons: I didn't like that it was possible to smoke indoors in the waiting area

Pros: The staff was amazing and everything was very clean. Very good breakfast too.

Cons: We liked everything. If we need to find something that we liked less it was a bit noisy in the early morning as our room was downstairs. Luckily we are early birds.

Pros: Amazing riad, excellent staff. Nothing was too much to ask. The room was clean and cleaned daily. Good shower, hot water all day, air conditioner worked great. The food was amazing - we had dinner there the first night. They also arranged airport pick up and provided us with a map and info on things to do and see. I still miss our late tea on the rooftop terrace. I will definitely return. Thank you, Abdul, for making Riad Alaka our second home.

Great comfortable and safe stay in a central location with amazing staff.

Pros: Great location, safe, clean and comfortable with super friendly staff. Hammam and massage were also great. They stored my luggage for the day and I also managed to work from the property with good internet and quiet space. I travelled alone and felt very comfortable.

A pearl in the old Medina

Pros: The friendliness of the staff is exceptional. Also the breakfasts are great and the location right in the middle off the soukhs is very practical.

Pros: Our journey was unforgettable. The kindness of the staff was always present. Every person is able to feel you well and welcome. Food was very good: dinner was superlative and you can taste local dishes. Also the breakfast was tasty and rich. I recommend you to try both hammam and massage, a very relaxing esperience. The place was amazing! Good value for money!

Great short stay, away from noise

Pros: Rooms nice and clean, value for money! Abdul was great and the guys so sweet! Food was amazing and they were attentive to all wishes. The space was very quiet (not always a given in marocco)

Cons: Bit more “outside” of the main things in the Medina, and the market to get there can be chaotic and dirty, the trips that they were offering were too overpriced

Perfect stay for exploring and experiencing the “real” Marrakesh

Pros: This Riad was absolutely fabulous. The entire team looked after us so well, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were a group of nine celebrating birthdays and visiting Marrakesh for the first time, and the staff made everything effortless. Communication with Majhoub before our trip was excellent. We arranged dinner for our first night—a delicious local tajine—and the team also helped us secure another restaurant booking. They organised a wonderful tour guide for the day, which I would highly recommend, as it helped us navigate the medina with ease. We visited the Palace, a local school, and the souks. We also booked massages for the whole group, which were fantastic. Breakfast each morning was lovely—the yoghurt is a must-try. The Riad is perfectly located on the edge of the Medina, making it ideal for exploring and experiencing the “real” Marrakesh. A huge thank you to Majhoub, Abdul, Mimon, and the whole team for making our stay so special. :)
