Riad Chayma Marrakech

We’d come back again and recommend it to our friends but feel a few tweaks are needed as regards our comments

Pros: It was a nice authentic property and very quiet place to relax in. The staff were very attentive at all times.

Cons: We thought that when we booked there was going to be an indoor swimming pool which turned out to be a plunge pool. We felt that the lighting although very nice there were areas that were to dull especially around the mirror which made it hard to make up.

Pros: Excellent stay, excellent staff - highly recommend Mohammed was very great manager. He went above and beyond every time

My stay was excellent overall — the room was spotless, the breakfast was enjoyable.

Pros: I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, but my favorite part was the fresh orange juice — it was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike, everything met or exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again.

An oasis in the chaos! Highly recommend

Pros: Brilliant location, nice to be close to the edge of the chaos of the old town. Easy to get to the main roads/ taxi etc but your adventure starts as soon as you get out of the door. Room was lovely, staff helpful and very friendly but not over the top.

Cons: Not a lot, as with all such Riads, you do wonder what you are letting your self in for when being led down a small grubby alleyway, but once in side you’ll feel safe and calm. ☺️

A truly wonderful riad

Pros: Great stay at a wonderful riad. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The area is bustling and full of life, with a much more local feeling when compared to deeper within the Medina.

Made us feel like family!

Pros: The staff were very friendly and approachable. They made us feel very welcome and could not do enough for us. The location is perfect for a walk into the medina and right in the hustle and bustle of everything! Would definitely recommend!

Pros: nice clean room, good facilities, decent breakfast on the first day, good location.

Cons: hotel transfer from the airport didnt come, resulting in getting a taxi. Breakfast starts from 8.30 only

Thank you for a fabulous stay

Pros: Staff were friendly and very helpful. We received a warm welcome and lots of information from Mohamad on arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable and a fresh bottle of water left everyday, the breakfast was great too. The riad is kept lovely and clean, Mirriam works hard to do this and always has a smile on her face. The roof top terrace is a great place to relax after a day in the city! Special thanks to Hamid for going out of his way to be helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and we enjoyed our conversations and learning more about the local culture.

Great small Riad, nice breakfast on roof terrace.

Pros: Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Great value for money, located just inside the Medina wall at Bab Doukkala.

Cons: The location had a constant stream of mopeds whizzing past, no pavements for pedestrians, you constantly had to stop and move out of the way. Local vicinity was dirty and a little smelly.
