Magnifique Riad Julilu Privatise au coeur de la Medina 11P

Absolutely loved every thing. The perfect spot !

Pros: This is a beautiful Riad in a fabulous location. So central to the Souks and Medina and right beside a pickup point for trips and activities. On arrival I was a bit concerned when I saw the street we had to walk down to access the Riad ( an earlier review had said it wasn’t the best area ) as it was a bit crazy with motorbikes street vendors and noisy and messy ! But this is Marrakech in all its glory and by day 2 I absolutely loved the buzz of it ! There were 5 of us but we all felt really safe walking around on our own. The Riad is gorgeous lots of space for us all and the rooms and en-suite shower rooms were spotless and so lovely. Ghalia and Fatima came in to prepare breakfast every morning and they were lovely. Franck the owner could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay and replied to me instantly with advice and to answer any questions I had. We all fell in love with this place and will definitely go back .

Cons: The only thing I would suggest is that I appreciate there was water and some beverages in the fridge on arrival but it would have been nice to also have a few basics such as tea coffee and milk ?

Pros: Very beautifully decorated and maintained. The staff were absolutely great and so welcoming and helpful. They really made us feel at home.

Pros: The Riyhad is really beautiful, clean and well located! the roof top also is amazing! the host was always ready to accomplish with all our needs and extra-requests. I really reccommend to book it.

Pros: The communication from Franck prior to and during the stay was exceptional. The Riad is in the Medina and is absolutely beautiful. Everything from the decor to the power of the shower was amazing. Ghalia, the lady that cooked and looked after us was humble and efficient - a lovely lady. She would cook and arrange breakfast in the dining room at a time that suited us. The rooms are a good size and beds are very comfortable. We absolutely loved the opportunity to spend an evening and afternoon on the roof terrace. Highly recommend this Riad.

Cons: We liked everything. I would say to be mindful that the Riad is a 20-25 minute walk to the main square. We love to explore and walk so this was great for us. It is also in the Medina, which is very cultural (we were initially cautious of our surroundings, but this was to do with our own inhibitions and not the area). It is a very happy, safe environment. I would absolutely recommend this Riad and stay again.

Pros: The Riad is close to the Centre. It was clean and comfortable. Natalie was an excellent host she helps with ensuring we are well taken care off. Suggested things we can do and always available for anything you need. Ghalia is also brilliant she does our breakfast every morning and ensures our room our clean everyday.

Cons: None that I can think off now

An oasis of peace in Marrakech

Pros: The Riad is fabulous, from the interior design to the location. We rented the entire structure for 9 people and we have all been amazed by the space and the attention to details. Breakfast was delicious and abundant! And the cherry on the top of the cake is the lovely rooftop/balcony! If you are looking for an oasis of peace in Marrakech, you should choose Riad Julilu.

Lovely, well presented Riad with everything you need. Great for small groups or families.

Pros: Roof terrace was lovely, even in the cooler weather and the breakfasts were great. Ghalia was very accommodating and helped us with queries etc. Location was great being on the edge of the Medina and in a quiet area though it was a bit of a trek to the centre.

Cons: Expectations and directions on arrival could have been better. We were dropped off by taxi at the beginning of a very busy, small, roughly cobbled market laneway and told to walk down, take 2nd left etc. etc...., it is relatively close but we needed the help of the local kids to find it and the Riad didn't have a name plate outside. Saying that, if you use the Riad's taxi contact they will take you to the door.

Stay here if you get the chance, you won't find a place more beautiful than this!

Pros: This place is AMAZING. Whomever decorated it put a lot of love into every little detail, making it very special and beautiful. It was the perfect place for me and my group of 9 to stay. Everyone had their own beautiful room and separate bathroom. The common areas of living, dining and the fantastic terrace made our stay so lovely and comfortable. We hardly wanted to leave because we were enjoying the beauty of this Riad so much! The breakfast was amazing, made just for us, at whatever time we requested. Highly, highly recommend.
