Riad Swaka

Highly recommended

Pros: Best location, staff is humble, Abdoul, Younes, la madame qui cuisine , la femme de ménage, they are so warm and helpful. The bed is comfortable; lovely breakfast every morning at the terrace.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Good location, but you have to walk a little labyrinth. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice with big bathroom. Riad is exactly how on the pictures

Cons: Pool was very small on the rooftop. Good maroccan breakfast but could be serve with some eggs. But very delicious and fresh.

Very nice staff and brekfast was good , me and my daughter liked the riad very much.

Pros: Superb location right next to Bahia palace, quiet neighbourhood.

Clean place near the edge of the the old town. Good value for money.

Pros: Room was perfectly clean. Location was good but inside a labirinth of small alleys with no direct access by car.

Cons: Dont listen to recomendations from the staff. Explore on your own for better satisfaction.

Pros: The property was very lovely and had a very authentic feel as a riad. It was clean and well kept and the team were amazing! We were able to have breakfast on the roof in the mornings which was great. Abdul and the team made sure we were very comfortable during our stay and were always on hand to help with any requests or questions! Location was also very good as it was a short walk to the main square with loads of souk style streets around.

Pros: What a lovely place to stay. Easy bus ride (#19) from the airport and then just a few minutes walk to the Riad. Using Maps on our phone helped tremendously as the maze of passages in old Marrakech can be confusing at first (so make sure you have a Travel eSIM or something). When we arrived it was like an oasis of calm in the wonderful busyness of the city. Abdul and Samir our day-to-day hosts were lovely and really helpful. Even in (early) December we had breakfast on the rooftop terrace each morning. Our room was pleasantly sized and the ensuite bathroom had a good shower. Comfortable bed! The accommodation is about 15 minutes walk through narrow streets to the main square. We arranged a trip to the Atlas Mountains ourselves, but Samir would have linked us to a travel agency if we'd needed that. Would we stay again? Yes. Would we recommend it? Absolutely!

Perfect stay in Marrakech

Pros: Great location, right next to Bahia Palace. The rooftop was lovely, really enjoyed sitting there in the sun and having breakfast.

Cons: Unfortunately due to a drought they had restricted water, but this was not the fault of the Riad!

Great place away from the chaos

Pros: Great location and staff. Very good breakfast. Abdul and Samir were great. Arranged for private taxi for departure and always took care of us

Very pleasant and relaxing - away from the noise and business of the city.

Pros: Lovely staff, comfortable room, food was tasty (we had and evening meal, organised for us at short notice. The manager even made our son a special snack .

Cons: a small comment - a second AC in our family room/suite would have been nice as the current AC didn't reach/change the temperature beyond the main bedroom so our son couldn't feel the benefits of an AC.

True Moroccan experience

Pros: If you want a true Moroccan experience, Riad Swaka Is the place to stay. Very friendly staff, they are professional but they're also capable of making you feel at home. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the terrace is such a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Abdul (and Semir) Riad Swaka is well inside the Medina's small streets, a little bit isolated, but we never felt unsafe, even when we came back at night, all alleys on the path are well illuminated.
