Cons: The only negative was that we did not want to leave the house to go and explore the city. One morning, we planned to leave after breakfast, but the Moroccan breakfast was scrumptious and gave us a good opportunity to have a nice, quiet conversation as a family. We then went to visit the rooftop terrace and ended up staying there for a couple of hours. There was very little we didn't like. The shower could have used an additional exhaust fan, but it's a minor suggestion.

Great location, amazing food and incredible people. Outstanding.

Pros: The property was great, a traditional riad with exceptional styling - plenty to gander at accompanied by the sweet singing of the local little birds! There is a family style eating room on the ground floor where you can have breakfast and dinner or you can opt to have breakfast on the terrace, which is lovely. The terrace itself has plenty of lounging space and a hot tub too. I would like to also highlight the best thing about the riad, which is the staff. Particularly the evening shift team who go the extra mile to make you feel at home and well looked after. A big thank you to Mustafa and Walid for their kindness and hospitality. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Recommended for a Morocco experience

Pros: Everyone working there was so engaged, helpful and authentic. Absolutely special place. I’ve never experienced this amount of kindness and respect at any Danish hotel ever. Maybe no where in EU. We loved staying there for 4 nights. Great location 15 min walk from the busy part of the city.

Pros: A very nice location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The food was very good, fresh, and well prepared. Overall, a great experience.

The best part of our trip!

Pros: We have had a fantastic stay at Riad Anya! The family run Riad is such an oasis. The roof terrace has lots of space to relax throughout the day. There's not much in the surrounding streets between the Riad and the Medina, but we felt safe wandering. Always taxi's near by if you needed to grab one, and easily walkable to the Medina. We walked day and night. The breakfast at the Riad was freshly prepared each day, with great coffee! The room we had was lovely and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone to stay here, I will certainly return!

Pros: Everything. The hammam experience truly unforgettable. The staff amazingly kind and hospitable - the feeling that anything you wanted was possible. Love love love❤️ thank you so much- definitely coming back.

Cons: Wish I had a room on the first floor. Mine was beyond the sitting areas. It felt a little out of the way - separate and it was darker than I would have liked.

Paradise!

Pros: Everything! This place is an absolute piece of paradise! So beautiful and tranquil, yet in the medina and just a hop away from the chaos of the square and souks. Stunning Riad, gorgeous bedroom and so many comfortable and peaceful private seating spots. The best food and attentive, genuine and heartfelt service from the staff. After the hammam and dinner we feel like new! Special thanks to Khalid, Simo, Walid, Mustapha and Mohammed. Cannot name all the staff but the kitchen staff and cleaners all deserve a mention too. Don’t often go back to places as we like to keep exploring but feel very drawn to come back to Riad Anya & Spa.
