Riad Assala

A really authentic and beautiful experience

Pros: Wonderful welcoming hosts. An authentic Moroccan experience. Very clean and comfortable beds. We had all the help we needed and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Thank you very much indeed.

Great stay with friends

Pros: The staff is simply amazing; so kind and helpful. The welcome diner, slightly pricey, but excellent!!!! The overall look of the riad is gorgeous. Breakfast is great, different items each morning (including eggs!)

Cons: The twin room is adjacent to the road so can be noisy late at night (for light sleepers)

Pros: Great location in Marrakesh, really close to the souks and the square. Ahmed took such great care of us and went above and beyond at every opportunity, My husband got sick in the last days of our stay and he made sure to check in on us every chance he got to make sure we were doing okay and to get us anything we might need

Cons: Not many negatives, it was a little bit difficult to find as it’s down an alley which is very easily missed

Pros: Beautiful riad, quiet in the middle of medina. Staff very friendly and helpful to do their best to make you comfortable.

Cons: The heating could be better. When 2 degrees outside in January at night better general heating is necessary for us tourist coming from general 23 degrees heating indoor. In the large suite and breakfast room more heating was needed. Will propose you to write indoor pool is not heated. Also that you pay more than tips for luggage to be brought to hotel.

Unforgettable

Pros: Our stay in Riad Assala was great! The room was very cozy and the food was really really good. Both breakfast and dinner were exeptional. The staff was perfect, always kind and smiling, and ready to help us with everything.

Absolutely fabulous stay, incredible staff and breakfast, what more could you want?

Pros: Riad Assala is absolutely stunning and in an amazing location. There are fabulous views from the rooftop and would definitely recommend watching a sunrise or two. Not only did we love the accommodation, but every single member of staff was fantastic! We had an airport pickup arranged, with Ahmed coming to collect us and our bags to walk through the pedestrianised streets to the Riad. We were greeted by smiles and kindness by everyone, with a top notch breakfast every morning! We could not recommend Riad Assala and everyone that works there enough!

Cons: We went in December so it is sometimes a bit chilly, but the amazing bedding made our nights nice and cosy!

Wonderful

Pros: Wonderful breakfast and hospitality Ahmed was a great host who helped us arrange taxis and we were allowed toleave our luggage all day until we got our taxi. It was all very smooth
