We felt very welcome and at home in Riad Chameleon

Pros: Very nice staff and lovely breakfast, beautifully served!

Cons: The location is not central

Calm and relaxing place to stay.

Pros: A calm and tranquil place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Very welcoming and friendly staff, and a great breakfast included on the roof terrace. To top it off it comes with a resident cat, so great for feline lovers too!

Cons: Nothing to mention.

Lovely riad, tucked away in the north of the main souks and squares.

Pros: This is a lovely tucked away riad in the north of the medina, the walk to the main souks and other attractions is not complicated, but like lots of Marrakesh takes a bit of getting your head around. The rooms were great, staff are lovely and keen to help and the breakfast was very good Moroccan fare.

Cons: Payment was cash or bank transfer.

Pros: Loved the location and the feel of the property. I was made to feel very welcome by Nordine, Morad and Mehdi, who were exceptional with their customer service and helpfulness. My room was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and the shower was great. The breakfasts were very generous, a great start to the day and an opportunity to meet and talk to other guests. The riad is 10 minutes walk to the Marjorelle gardens and the souks and 20 minutes from the main square and therefore a lovely, peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. I loved sitting up in the terrace area and reading after my day visiting the sights.

Perfect stay which met and exceeded all expectations. Would return without question.

Pros: Our stay at Riad Chameleon was excellent! Staff were very friendly, arranging a transfer to and from the airport. Arriving in the evening they immediately gave tips were getting around, gave us a very helpful map and booked dinner at a local restaurant. The riad itself was very clean and welcoming and our room was plenty big enough. Each morning the breakfast was lovely and filling and they were more than happy to cater to all needs, and the additional meal we paid for on the last night was very good and gave an excellent taste of Moroccan food. The location was on the outskirts of the Medina which meant it was quiet at night but it was easy to get into the centre for sight-seeing, and the map given made it very obvious how to get around. If we return to Morocco, we won't hesitate to return to Riad Chameleon. Hagrid the cat was very friendly too!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: First of all I have to mention our host Noureddine. He was incredible from before we even arrived until the moment we left. He went out of his way to contact our taxi driver, tell him where to drive too, he was there waiting for us. He then walked our luggage to the Riad. He checked us in then walked us slightly into the Medina so we were able to understand where is best to go. One of the best hosts I ever had anywhere, hands down. The Riad itself is beautiful, the people are lovely, the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing service by staff

Pros: The staff were the highlight of the stay . Just amazing. Respectful, kind , attentive, available and extremely helpful. Could not ask for better.

Cons: Mattress was a little hard

Pros: We had a lovely stay and were well taken care of by Mehdi and Mourad inc sourcing a SIM card for us and giving us blankets when we were cold etc. The rooms are lovely the breakfast is great and the cat is so cute. Thanks so much!

Cons: Was a great stay no notes.

Would definitely come back and would love to see it in the warmer months!

Pros: Beautiful property, exceptional hospitality and nestled in a really good area close to the main square.

Wonderful place to stay!

Pros: Great location in terms of a quiet part of the medina. A long walk to Marrakech attractions which we didn’t mind. The staff here are so welcoming & did everything they could to make us comfortable, including recommending restaurants, providing a local map, phone calls if we got lost etc. the Riad is beautiful with lots of comfortable sitting spaces. Great breakfast!

Cons: Some noise at night & the muezzin woke us early but that’s part of the culture.
