Lovely

Pros: Lovely riad and staff. We felt welcomed and had a wonderful time.

Cons: The location is near the medina exit,so there’s a bit of walking to certain locations. That was no issue for us as was easy to navigate.

Pros: Staff were polite and made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. They made great mint tea. Jacuzzi on the roof was also fabulous.

Cons: We were in a ground floor room, at night occasionally others would group by the table and talk or drink tea quite late on.

Relaxing experience

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, comfy rooms, great roof terrace. Great Hammam spa experience. Lovely and quiet and peaceful as an antidote to the busy city.

Cons: Location wasn’t ideal, although on a quiet road the route to the city centre/main sauks was interesting - chaotic and felt a little unsafe. Not too many restaurants nearby. Rooms could use more light, although I understand this is the style of the Riads.

A beautiful stay

Pros: We were warmly welcomed with fresh local pastries by the lovely couple who own the riad, a lovely touch. Ysalis Riad is beautiful and we had such a comfortable stay. The room was great and spacious, the bed big and comfortable, and the shower was oh wow, the best in Morocco! We had very relaxing spa treatments and enjoyed the hot tub on the roof. I will be recommending Ysalis to anyone travelling to Marrakesh!

Spacious rooms and lovely staff

Pros: Amazing friendly staff who were always happy to help (shout out to Nordine who was so lovely). The room is spacious and the shower is really nice. The location is a 10 minute walk to the start of the souks so a bit out of the way but perfectly walkable and safe. We had. Great treatment at the hotel as well. We'd definitely come back to stay here.

Cons: It's a bit of a walk to restaurants unless you want to eat in the hotel (the choice isn't very extensive though). Would have liked a bit more fruit at brekkie (if I was being really picky).

Pros: Amazing staff, great rooftop view, traditional yet very comfortable. Our room was exceptional.

Cons: Nothing really. If picky: more could have been done with the highest terrace, which is currently empty. The location is not exactly central.

Excellent stay in authentic riad in the Marrakech Medina

Pros: Everything was great, the owners Nathalie and Sylvain were excellent hostsm accommodating, polite and knowledgeable. The same was the rest of the staff.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Morocco.

Pros: We stayed at this beautiful riad in Morocco and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome ,warm smiles, helpful tips, and genuine hospitality.The riad itself was stunning traditional Moroccan design, peaceful courtyard, and a rooftop with breathtaking views. Our room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Every little detail felt thoughtful and authentic. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and the location was perfect, quiet but still close to everything.
