Pros: Ismail was super helpful, giving us all the important tips and always being there for us. The airport transfer was smooth, and the breakfast, made by a really nice lady, was amazing. The location was really good and central.
Cons: The bathroom has a cool traditional vibe, but no doors, so keep that in mind if it bothers you.

Amazing little riad!
Pros: Amazing little riad, very good breakfast, amazing service especially from Ismail. And not last very good value compared to other places I visited in Marrakech.
Cons: The location is a little tricky to find at first.

Pros: Everything was perfect! Ismael and the other staff members were incredible, kind, happy, ready to help if needed and they made our stay unforgettable! Since the first moment we’ve felt comfortable! The breakfast options are super and also the position is great, the riad is 5 minute walking to the main place… they’ll give some clues to make your journey even smooth! If you want they could organize a private transfer from the airport. Couldn’t recommend a better place in Marrakech, hope to come back very soon!

Wonderful Stay
Pros: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Ysmail and Kamir were incredibly professional and genuinely helpful throughout my entire visit. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable and effortless for both me and my sister. From organizing our plans to assisting with anything we needed, they truly made our stay easy and enjoyable. Excellent service all around — highly recommended!
Cons: The only thing to note is that the bathroom didn’t have a door, which was a bit inconvenient.

Perfect stay
Pros: The riad was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful – Ismail and the lady. The rooms were neat and clean, cleaned daily. The staff were helpful, and very safe. The doors weren't perfectly sealed, and you could hear outside noise, but it wasn't a problem. It was more the other people sleeping in the riad who were noisy, and the staff kept everything in order. Ismail was super helpful and talkative; we felt very comfortable there. HIGHLY Recommended

Pros: Beautiful riad near the medina - peaceful, comfy beds and a lovely breakfast each morning. Special mention to Ismael who was so helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much effort for him and he really made us feel at home.
Cons: Although the location was great being so close to the medina, the alley that it is situated in isn't very inviting. Rubbish everywhere and didn't feel particularly safe. We were travelling in a group so it was fine, but I would have felt extremely uncomfortable if I were a solo female traveller.

Conveniently located, clean and enjoyable stay
Pros: The Riad was kept very clean and the room was perfect for my needs.. comfy mattress and good sized bathroom! The breakfast spread was really amazing and they were so generous with the variety of bread and spreads! Ismail was so hospitable and superb with sharing more about Marrakech, and always ready to help with any questions at any point of time during the day.. my stay here was really enjoyable, highly recommend to anyone looking for a place conveniently located near Jemaa el-Fnaa!

Great Riad
Pros: Ismael is the best. He makes sure you get everything that you need and more. He will go out of his way to organize trips, book restaurants and recommend placesbto visit for you. The hospitality is on a next level. All in all a great Riad and I can recommend it to everyone!

Pros: We spent a few wonderful days in Morocco, and for the last part of our trip in Marrakech we stayed at Riad El Maktoub. From the moment we arrived, Ismail welcomed us with his warm smile and traditional Moroccan tea. He was always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks to him, we felt at home and experienced the true Moroccan hospitality – genuine, generous, and unforgettable. The riad itself is beautiful and peaceful, but what made our stay truly special was Ismail’s service and care. We will never forget this experience and we highly recommend both Riad El Maktoub and Ismail to anyone visiting Marrakech.
