Hotel Zagora

Good location, but tolerate noises.

Pros: Located near the medina and across from a small grocery store. The little courtyard is lovely.

Cons: The door lock needed some jiggling to open and the mattress is not comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, don't choose this one as it is very noisy day and night.

Nice place right in the heart of the medina. Cheap and simple but comfortable.

Pros: This is a typical riad-style hotel in the medina. Like all of them it has shared toilets and showers which is fine. It was nice and clean, the room was sparse as these places always are but ideal for a night or two. The beds were comfortable and towels were provided when we asked. It was very quiet at night, despite the activity all around. We would stay here again.

Cons: We were warned that the shower (on the first floor) took ages to get hot. What we weren't told though was that it would suddenly go freezing cold half way through washing my hair. Oh well, it's not the first cold shower I've ever had and the weather was nice enough so not a big issue.

Very clean and great location.

Pros: Very good location - next to Jema El Fna. Also was very clean. The rooftop terrace is very nice too.

Cheap and cheerful no complaints you get a bargain if you are not too fussy!

Pros: Traditional Riad in central location in the Medina. The staff were extremely helpful.

Cons: It is need of some minor maintenance and updating.

Pros: Location is great, the room and bathroom were clean, the house is a beautiful Riad and has rooftop where we can drink coffee or lemonade and smoke.

Cons: Sometimes the warm water in the shower Is not running And the beds have not the best spring matresses.

STAFF WAS SO NICE

Pros: the front desk man was amazing. i needed to check into my flight for ryanair but i needed a comptuer and he let me borrow his for an hour and a half and one of my friends forgot her kindle and he was so kind and helped out

Quiet and clean place in the very central area of Marakesh

Pros: +very central but also very quiet in a side street of the busy jeema el fna square + very clean! + very cheap + perfect for 1-2 nights - a litte bit spartanic. There could be a desk in there -

Pros: Great location, nice traditional riad. Good value for money. Simple and basic just what we needed! The guy also printed out boarding passes which saved us a trip out to find a printer. 👍🏼

Cons: Unfortunately the shower had no hot water but it was refreshing as I enjoy a cold shower once a while but for others it might be a problem.

Location is excellent, staff were very friendly. For this low price it can't be better.

Pros: Top location Top staff It is a perfect hotel for young travelers on a budget who are looking for a hotel nearby and don't want a big, luxurious, and expensive hotel in the heart of Marrakech.

Cons: There was no heating, and it was a bit cold at night. But we were with 2 people and used the blankets of the third bed. It was a bit noisy early in the morning coming from the street.

Pros: The staff, location and price was excellent. Karim the receptionist was welcoming and friendly.
