Pros: Very central location, just 5min from Jemaa el-Fnaa, traditional, clean Riad. The common spaces were very nicely decorated and the staff was nice.

Cons: A mini fridge would be a good addition especially since Morocco is a pretty warm country. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room but they immediately gave us one upon request. The breakfast is served from 9am which is a bit late for people joining day trip but they offered us some breakfast for the way.

Pros: The riad was absolutely fantastic – nicely decorated and clean. The staff was truly amazing!! So kind and attentive!! I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Arwa. The riad was very comfortable, and the beds were extremely comfortable, which made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. The location is excellent — it’s situated on a peaceful street corner with no shops or stores nearby, and no motorcycles passing by, which made the stay very quiet and relaxing. At the same time, it’s very close to the main square, so the location was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was impeccable — fresh, tasty, and clearly prepared with care each morning - a huge praise for breakfast 🙏 Mustaffa was a very kind and attentive host, as was his colleague (unfortunately, we forgot his name). They organized our airport transfer as well as our transfer to Jardin Majorelle. Since we arrived late from the airport, Mustaffa waited for us at the parking area and personally escorted us to the riad, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Cons: A few small points could be improved to make the stay even better. There were no slippers in the room, not even upon request. Since the bathroom is tiled and has no cover or curtain, the floor gets very wet during showers, so the bathroom literally ends up swimming in water. It’s a good idea to bring your own slippers if you stay here. There is no hairdryer in the room, as it is only available upon request. If you are arriving late or are in a rush, it’s best to request one in advance. The room tends to get cold, and heating is provided only through a standard air-conditioning unit. While it works, it dries the air quite a lot, which can be uncomfortable during the night. Upgrading to a different type of electric heater could greatly improve the sleeping experience. Although there is a vanity table, the room lighting is quite dim. The vanity table would definitely benefit from a small table lamp, especially for makeup or grooming. The shampoos provided in the room come in authentic small bottles but without labeling, so it’s unclear which product is which. Adding simple labels would be a helpful improvement. Overall, these are just a few small changes that could make everything function more smoothly.

Fabulous place, but late breakfast

Pros: Perfect location, in the middle of medina (bearing in mind the narrow streets of that area). From the airport, you can get bus 19 and get off at the main square; then, it's about a 12-min walk to the accommodation. Bus ticket costs only 30 Dirham, but to be paid in cash! Google maps helps going around. Nice and comfortable rooms, with Moroccan style just like the pictures. The body shower at the bathroom smells sooo good! Superb breakfast, with full experience into the Moroccan gastronomy. Super friendly staff! It's an unique experience. Highly recommended!

Cons: Late breakfast: 9:00-11:00am. Unfortunately, we could not experience the (very nice!) breakfast on half of the days we were there, since it starts late. We asked for an earlier breakfast in one of those days, which we were gladly served at 08:00, although we had to rush a bit given that we had an appointment. It would be handy to have earlier breakfast, in particular if you plan to do one of those day trips. That said, it seems it's common in those riads (but good to know)

A good stay if you want to relax.

Pros: The room is of a good size and the staff there are kind and friendly. The staff takes great care of us during our stay making us feel welcomed mostly. The riad is of an excellent location to several attractions and very quiet and peaceful to live in.

Cons: Firstly, the wifi is weak in the bedrooms especially the top floor which is the weakest and the first floor is sometimes weak and average. However, the forecourt and ground floor is where the wifi is the strongest. The drainage of the bathroom could be better as it does not drain well making the floor wet but the ventilation is good and dry the floor within 20 minutes or more. There is no labelling of the amenties. We do not know which ones is for body and for hair. The breakfast on the last day of our is good as the drinks are hot and food is hot as well. However, the first and second day of our the breakfast are from luke warm to cold. The mint tea could have been more hotter and provide a bigger teapot to pour. It takes a long time for the tea and coffee to arrive.
