A cosy place with kind staff
Pros: Lovely place and reasonably priced. Anwar made us tea on arrival and when we told him we had an early start the next day, he kindly provided us with breakfast to go.
Cons: Like most places in Marrakesh, it was hard to find and you need to walk down an alleyway which is quite dark at night. It was also a bit cold and we would have appreciated another blanket.

Lovely stay
Pros: We had a lovely stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the ladies serving breakfast were so sweet. The room was small but cozy, and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean, and there is also AC in the room. Be aware that payment is cash only. We didn’t know and had to look for an ATM, but the staff was friendly and helpful. We also had an early flight, and they prepared breakfast boxes.

Pros: Despite its central location, the riad is very difficult to find. People sit in dark corners offering to guide you there for money, which was extremely unpleasant. There should be a clear sign at the entrance of the street. It was our second time in Marrakesh, so we was prepared, but if it is the first time it will be stressfull, take a transfer from the airport, because is impossible to find by your self. The rooms are classic for a riad, very clean and the bathroom was spacious. Our flight was in the afternoon, and the staff were kind enough to let us leave our luggage after check-out. We are in january and it was cold, but we have an AC in the room with heating option, it was great.
Cons: The reservation stated that payment by card was possible, but it turned out that it was not. This was very unpleasant for us, as it was our last night in Marrakech and we had planned our remaining cash accordingly.

Last minute booking in comfortable & friendly Riad.
Pros: Very well-located & comfortable Riad with a very friendly host. The breakfast was generous & filling. The host gave me extremely helpful advice on where to pick up a taxi to the airport and tips on a price to haggle for.
Cons: Aircon/heater not functioning in room

The stay was really good- the lovely staff and the location made it very special
Pros: I stayed in Riad les 2 Portes with my parents - long weekend in Marrakech. The things we loved about our accommodation were: -very attentive and polite host - Zakaria who made sure we were comfortable at all times - location is 10/10 - so close to where all the action is taking place - cute vibe of a riad
Cons: - it could be a little bit noisy - some tourists next door were laughing in the middle of the night which kept us awake (it was however handled by the host who asked the couple to turned it down, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything) - we booked the quadruple room (room for 4people) which was made of 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The rooms were cute and very clean but one of the rooms was separated so to use the bathroom in the middle of the night we had to wake up the family staying in the other room to let us in- small inconvenience.

Beautiful find, charming gem in the heart of the medina
Pros: Beautiful interior, mysterious architecture with a great rooftop for a nice rest. I absolutely loved the owners, warm, welcoming, quietly friendly. Truly lovely.
Cons: Tricky to find, the dark alley seems scary and not pleasant

Cons: You have to wait 30 minutes for your breakfast so count this in your planning!
