Riad Dar Al-Famila & Spa

Pros: We had a wonderful stay here! We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the staff were very accommodating and I was able to book a hammam and massage the same day, which was great. We had the best meal of our trip here, and the night porter was very friendly and helped us to get our taxi the next morning. Highly recommend staying here when in Marrakesh!

Amazing Riad and great location

Pros: The Riad so nice and clean. Great location. Staff super friendly and really helpful. Easy to find only fews min walk to from the main street.

Great place to stay in an interesting place - make sure you know your way home!

Pros: Exceptional help. I decided to go for an evening walk at 21:30h, downloaded a map (or so I thought), and set off to find a bar. Enjoyed getting a sense of the place, but decided to head back to the riad. Arrgh!! Satnav on the phone not working. Wandered around for 30 minutes relying on my sense of direction, down some dark empty streets. Eventually found a small square with a tiny shop and - thank heaven - a name. Phoned the riad, spoke to Abdul (I think) trying to explain where I was - passed the phone to the shopkeeper. He said \

Stunning stay in Marrakech

Pros: The riad was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Hosts were really lovely and friendly, and we enjoyed watching the AFCON final with them. Breakfast was simple and freshly made every morning - and the variations to the sweet breads and yogurts each day made it special. Nice to have spa facilities onsite.

Cons: There are no facilities to pay by card onsite, which would have made check out easier. Cars cannot drive to door of property, so for tours and taxi pick up/drop off is 3 mins up the road at the college.

Pros: Absolutely loved the place. Its new, every detail is beautiful and cozy and clean and makes your stay exceptional. Very well located, easy to find but at the same time away from the noise. The staff was very supportive and welcoming , the breakfast was exceptional.

Pros: This a stunning little find in the heart of the Medina. Tucked away in a little corner, inside it’s a tranquil and beautifully clean riad. Things we loved: - the bed was huge - the ambience is so relaxing inside. - the rooftop is lovely. Small (very cold in January) pool with sunbeds and sofas - it’s a 20 min walk to the main square. - Nabil is AMAZING. He looked after us so well and even collected us on his moped when we got lost getting back late at night. - the hammam and spa on site is excellent.

Cons: There’s nothing we didn’t like but it’s worth noting: - walking back at night can be tricky. Coming through the Souks at night is tricky as they close some of the routes so even using Google maps it’s not that easy. There’s a main road way back alongside the outside of the city wall, which we used after learning our lesson getting stuck. - the early morning call to prayer from the nearby mosques is very loud so expect to be awake at around 7am (although it’s very quiet after and before that). - book a transfer with Nabil as it would be tricky to find first time without him meeting you at the taxi!

Beautiful road with extremely friendly staff and great location

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was very good. The breakfast was amazing. The road is clean and well maintained and it is beautifully decorated.

Cons: The massage was okay but there is room for improvement in terms of masseuse and facilities.

Nice riad in a hidden corner

Pros: The riad is beautiful with very comfortable rooms. The staff is lovely!

Cons: The humidity in the rooms goes up quickly and can only be reduced by turning on the AC which also functions as heating.

Amazing hotel in the Medina

Pros: We love the hotel. The room was amazing with everything you need. the terrace and the hamman were amazing. Abdul was really thoughtful and kind.
