The best choice

Pros: A wonderful location, all attractions are within walking distance. Despite being close to a market, the riad is quiet and peaceful. Very clean, with daily housekeeping. Special thanks to the breakfast staff; everything was freshly prepared, very good, and plentiful.

Riad Jô in its peacefulness and kind hospitality was home in a - for some - overwhelming Marrakesh.

Pros: Riad Jô was the oasis during our time in chaotic Marrakesh.

Pros: As you will find everywhere in Marrakech the people are charming, friendly and very accommodating.

Cons: The room was small as described in the listing, however if all you are looking for a clean room with ensuite bathroom / shower, lovely people, great terrace and in a good location, Riad Jô is perfect,.

Pros: The riad is brand new, having opened in November 2025. Unlike countless other riads, the bathrooms are very modern and equipped with rain showers, the deluxe room is spacious. The hospitality is remarkable; I was served Moroccan tea and cake upon arrival.

Lovely staff who went out of the way to make us feel welcome

Pros: Riad Jo is located in a quiet side street off the main bustling market. The market was honestly quite stressful with lots of traffic (people, bikes, donkeys, etc), and it was always a relief to return to our riad to rest and get away. We had breakfast on the rooftop when the weather was dry, and on the ground floor when it was raining- both times the staff were very attentive and ensured we were comfortable. We also used the spa service at the riad. It was so convenient having the spa located a few steps from our room. The riad accommodated us to do a hammam as a couple, our masseuse was very professional and thorough. The spa room was slightly cramped when we did it as a couple. Mostafa was our main host during our stay and he was genuinely friendly, exceptionally welcoming and patient in helping us settle in. He shared some advice about getting taxis in the city, and helped us obtain an umbrella to combat the rain. We felt like we made a new friend here in morocco.

Cons: No fault of the riad itself, but we were unfortunate that there were heavy rains in Marrakesh when we visited, the streets leading to the riad had many puddles and it was unpleasant walking in the rain and getting wet socks.
