Riad Nomad House Marrakech

Simply lovely

Pros: Really good breakfast. Hasan is such a pleasure to chat with and will help with anything to make the stay amazing. The riad is within walking distance of the medina, and is on the side of the city with the airport, so easy to get in and out of. Shared bathrooms were clean. Good internet connection.

Cons: Quite noisy. Not quite on a main street but still lots of traffic until late in the night. The riad is modern so it lacks some of the charm of more authentic riads. Price was quite steep for small rooms with shared bathroom but it was during a period of high demand (capitalism ftw).

Pros: A calm and cozy riad, everything is very clean and well-kept. The owner, Hassan, carefully oversees and controls everything, doing much of the work himself and putting his heart into it. The atmosphere of the riad is created by him, you can truly feel that he genuinely cares about everyone. The breakfasts are very tasty and filling, everything freshly prepared, and the hot flatbreads here are something special. And the peanut butter! (Not every riad had peanut butter, and where they did, it was never as delicious as here.) The riad is quiet and peaceful, which you especially notice after the noisy and lively street outside. If you’re looking for a special warmth and heartfelt hospitality in Morocco — this is the place for you. Highly recommended!

Cons: I prefer a bit softer pillows, but it was okay

Bang for the buck

Pros: Great staff, extremely helpful. Helped me quite a lot with advices and then printing my boarding pass at the end. The place is 10 min walk from the L19 bus stop in Jamaa el Fna square. Clean.

Cons: The mattress was done for. Need to be changed ASAP. I could not sleep well. There is only one little sink in the bathroom so you need to shower if you want hot water.

Pros: Near the center suke, great breakfast to go, caise we had to leave earlier

Cons: Bathroom outside the room, no heating in this building in wibter only AC in the room, so you eat your breakdast in very cold dining room

Cozy, homelike lovely Riad with welcoming staff and interesting people!

Pros: I loved the cozy, safe and welcoming feeling created by the staff. Hassan is super kind, fun and makes sure you have everything you need for your stay :) I slept so well here, the breakfast is always so so so good and the location is perfect for both visiting the Medina but also to reach the airport or bus stations if you wish to travel further from Marrakech. Also this place seems to attract really nice travellers which was a bonus too :) This was my second time at the Riad and I always met lovely people there!

Cons: Nothing comes to my mind!

Pros: All went well. Nice staff . Thanks Hassan, Embarak and Ramadan. Great location and Hassan was always helpful and will give you information about all what you need in Marrakech. See u again guys.

The hostel is very cozy, central, and great value-for-money, with a nice and respectful host family!

Pros: At check in, our host took the time to get to know us, give us advice for tourism, as well as talk about the culture of Marrakesh over some traditional tea. He was really fantastic and a brought a very positive experience to our stay. He also helped to book taxis for us if needed. The location is central in the old town, 10 mins walk from the Souks, and in a great location in the old town. The hostel was calm and everyone inside was respectful, the bathroom was always kept clean, and the breakfast offering in the morning was always very filling! Walking around the area at night did not feel dangerous either.

Pros: The service level from Hassan was second to none. He ensured all of us settle down well. Moreover, he upgraded one of our room with small increment. Really appreciate it.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Lovely staff, nice room and amazing breakfast! Very close to the medina and main transport facilities.

Pros: Hassan and Moubark welcomed us and were incredibly attentive from start to finish. They gave us great tips and important information about Marrakesh. The breakfast was delicious, the location is excellent, and the place was impeccably clean. It is definitely a wonderful place to stay.
