Riad BAB 19

Beautiful riad, would go back again!!

Pros: The riad was absolutely beautiful! The housekeeper, Aisha, was so lovely. She made us tea on our first day, helped us find our way around and gave us some great recommendations to try. She was also incredibly kind to us and made our stay there feel really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely come back again!

Pros: Overall good looking Riad. Alisha, the hostess, was great at welcoming, looking after our needs and preparing breakfast and delicious dinner.

Cons: Lovely Riad but electricity issues and cleaniness could be improved. We had a pleasant stay at the Riad Bab 19 but there are many things that could be improved. First of all it is very difficult to find it as there are no signs pointing towards it and you need to pass a very low and narrow passage to get to it. The taxi organised by Riad refused to show the road to the riad so no point paying more for it. No apologies we made on that matter. Cleanliness of the place, especially the kitchen was not great. Greasy surfaces and stains. It was cold and rather damp in the Riad. The air-con heats up the room but doesn’t provide comfortable heat as doesn’t heat surfaces like bed or floor. Our towels never dried out fully. Shower gels, shampoos and soap were diluted with water. The furniture in the communal area looks good on a picture but was uncomfortable to sit on. The biggest issue was that the electricity would go off 2-3 times per day. Every time there was someone who came to fix it but it was disturbing to have it happening late at night.

Pros: Loved the Moroccan feel of the Riad with all its quirky nuances.

Pros: Ottima colazione, preparata con cura da Aicha. Possibilità di ordinare la cena su richiesta, cosa che abbiamo fatto per la nostra ultima sera. Aicha oltre che un'ottima cuoca è stata una persona molto disponibile e gentile. L'ubicazione è nel cuore della Medina a due passi dalle maggiori attrazioni. L'edificio curato e confortevole. Ottimo soggiorno.

Un séjour au cœur de la Médina très dépaysant !

Pros: Notre séjour c'est parfaitement déroulé! La personne qui a géré notre réservation était très disponible par mail et par téléphone. Elle nous a permis d'arriver dès notre atterrissage le matin ! Le riad est superbe et notre hôte Aisha d'une grande gentillesse et d'une grande sympathie! Elle a nous a fait de très bons petits déjeuners, 2 tajines et un couscous royal, accompagnés de salades marocaines! Nous n'aurions pas pu espérer mieux de ce séjour! Allez y les yeux fermés!

Cons: La piscine a chouilla fraiche en octobre! mais c'est pour écrire quelque chose dans cette catégorie! ;-)

Pros: Grâce à Aicha nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux elle était au petit soins et a comblé toute nos attente♥️ Le Riad est très jolie et bien situé
