Dar Sofil - Adults Only

Wonderful stay at Dar Sofil.

Pros: Wow this property is stunning. It’s like staying in a luxury villa but with the trimmings of a hotel. The pool is amazing with the comfiest of loungers. And with only 4 rooms you’re spoilt for choice of where to sit! No scrabbling for sun beds here. It’s 20 mins to the medina and they organise your transport €10. We loved being able to escape the chaos to this oasis of calm. The team can’t do enough for you.

Cons: They don’t have an alcohol license but we took our own alcohol and they are fine with that. But I still wouldn’t swap this place for that reason.

We will definitely be returning and I recommend Dar Sofil highly! 5*

Pros: My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon. The property was luxurious and peaceful. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect possible. The food was unbelievable, fresh produce daily and professionally prepared. Massive thanks to Mohammed, Medhi and the rest of the team for being so welcoming and attentive.

Stunning Hotel!

Pros: The location was very convenient for trips to the city. The hotel was stunning. Really beautiful, lovely interior design, and perfect swimming pool, and small enough that it felt private. Everything from the gardens to the reception were immaculate. The facilities, including spa, pool, terrace etc were faultless. The staff were also very accommodating to special requests and it was very easy to arrange shuttles to the city.

Cons: The AC in the room was not very effective, and really took at least a day to cool the room down. I'm sure this would be less of a problem in winter. The staff did not address this problem especially well or respectfully, but once this was resolved, they were a delight for the rest of the stay.

Pros: Dar Sofil is a gem.Perfect stay.The house,the atmosphere,the staff,the food ,everything was superb.Dar Sofil is beautiful,the room was spacious,beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff especially Mehdi and Mohamed couldn 't do enough to make our stay memorable.They are exceptional hosts.A big thank you too to the hidden staff,the cook and the cleaning staff . It felt like a private retreat. We will come back and we recommend Dar Sofil to anyone going to Marrakech.

Pros: Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They were able to arrange transport, recommend and book restaurants and give advice on local attractions.

Cons: Pool is not heated and was too cold for me to swim in although others did brave it.

Pros: Amazing Architect designed villa with beautiful grounds and pool area. Very exclusive feeling being only a few rooms and with very attentive staff. They are always on hand but not intrusive. 30 minutes from the city but driver is available for transport. A great place to relax after staying in and touring the city

Pros: Dar Sofil was the highlight of our time in Marrakech. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally kind, attentive and always willing to go beyond. We had a wonderful experience here. Everything was beautifully maintained to a very high standard. The food was excellent—freshly prepared, and the breakfasts were a particular highlight. Transport in Marrakech can be pricey, but the hotel arranged reasonably priced shuttles, which made getting around much easier. They also helped us book activities and were always available to assist whenever we needed. We personally loved the location—peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. A huge thank you to Mohammed, Mehdi, Murad, and the rest of the team for making our stay so special! Would definitely recommend and return!

Excellent

Pros: The property is a new property but it was tastefully done. From the furniture to the breakfast there has been a lot of thought into it. It is like an oasis in the city. The place looks better than the pictures will definitely be back. The host staff Mohammed & Mehdi are amazing. The were there to assist with any query from hiring a taxi to booking an excursion or even recommending where to go for dinner.
