Great stay
Pros: Comfy and very clean room, tasty breakfast, nice lady at the reception, very quiet in spite of being inside of the Medina with birds singing outside.

Pros: Nadira made our staying in Marrakech a wonderful experience. She was extremely nice, helpful and diligent. The breakfast was also delicious. It takes around 20-30 minutes in wlaking distance to make it to the city center, but for us this wasn't a problem, as it gave us the opportunity to explore the Medina further. There's a super market, a bar, a pharmacy and basically everything you need nearby. The room was clean and perfect for a short stay, although if you are the kind of tourist who likes to spend time at their hotel and chill there, the room may be too small for you. But again for us it was perfect. Since the riad is close to the Median wall, it is also easily reachable for taxis, which I would say it's not that usual in the center of Marrakech. If you are looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Marrakech, this is totally it!

Good central location. Some attention to detail needed.
Pros: The room was comfortable, if a little small. The rooftop area was nice to relax in, though the views across other rooftops were not so uplifting. Breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of fare, and the manager, Nadira, was very helpful.
Cons: A lot of noise from the room opposite, with squeaky door constantly opening and closing into the early hours. Would have been nice to have a door on the bathroom area, rather than just a plastic curtain. The outlet on the shower was very slow-draining, and I had to switch the water off, mid-shower, to allow the water to drain so that it didn't overflow.

Fabulous stay
Pros: Dar Manzakin is a traditional Riad, spotless clean and very good managed by Nadira, which will take great care of you like nobody else. She prepared everyday a tasty breakfast for us. Breakfast time is at 9:00 AM, but if you have a daytrip outside of Marrakech, take away breakfast is available. During my stay, I feel like at home. The room is traditional decorated and it is very comfy. The private bathroom is spacious. The location is well connected with everything: good restaurants, money exchange service, market. You can reach everything in Medina by foot. I highly recommend Dar Manzakin.
