The perfect sanctuary for a relaxed stay in Marrakesh!

Pros: An oasis within the busy medina. We felt at home and relaxed here. Staff were incredibly helpful and attentive would recommend this riad. Julian answered all our questions, extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! The place is very safe and secure.

Pros: Location was perfect in old town. Olivier and Julien are the best ever! Kind and helpful, very good local recommendations. Would definitely return here. Loved everything about it.

Overall we had a good experience and no big inconveniences.

Pros: Location close to Medina, because we wanted to experience the authentic vibe. Mr Sakine is a very good adminstrator of the facility who helped with a lot of information. As well we met the owner, who is also a kind person willing to provide best services for the guests.

Cons: The room looked renovated, but the bathroom not that much, or they wanted to keep the old architecture.

Pros: We had a beautiful experience at riad awatif 36, the strutture was very nice and tidy, also the room was very comfortable. Most of all Sakine, the riad’s owner, was extremely kind with us, making himself available for any eventuality. Another pleasant thing was the delicious and fresh breakfast that the riad offered to us everyday.

Pros: The property was beautiful, it was in a good location and the staff were absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was delicious and I'll be dreaming about it until our next stay.

It was a value for money and comfort.

Pros: It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience staying there for a week. The room was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptional, extremely courteous and helpful which left a lasting impression on me. I appreciated the sense of freedom I had during my stay, and I truly felt as comfortable as if I were at home. Thank you “Riad Awatif le 36” for all your support and made my holiday memorable.

Cons: Only thing i didn’t like is the location. It’s not safe if you walk after 10pm from Jemaa el-Finaa to the riad. Most of the day local people followed me and harassed me for money outside riads road. NB: if they see you following map in your phone they mostly mislead you to say the road is closed and show you another way and then ask for money. Be careful if you walk at night. I prefer taxi to riad.

Pros: It was very clean, we felt very safe and all the staff were very friendly!

Cons: Not anything we didn’t like so to speak but just to be aware there are cats in the property (pet cats). We also only encountered one English speaking staff member, however we were able to use google translate which helped! This is not a negative about the property but more just to be aware of!

Practically perfect!

Pros: An absolutely beautiful base for our first visit to Morocco. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable beds and high quality bedding. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the cook and housekeeper, who cooked a delicious meal for us on arrival on the first night, as we had an evening flight arrival (was pre-ordered). Tasty breakfast and delicious tea and pastries during the afternoon when ordered. We were able to leave our luggage safely in the Riad when we checked out of our room on the final day and also allowed to use the roof terrace while waiting for our taxi. Good strong Wi-Fi throughout the property. Will definitely return.

Cons: The only issue which brought this down from a 10/10 was issues with the taxi transfer. We waiting outside the airport for 30 minutes. Then on arrival in the city, the driver dropped us off as close as he could get the car and just said turn right, and we go terribly lost. Thankfully my eSIM worked and google maps got us there.
