Riad Merstane Marrakech

Pros: Our host Mohamed was absolutely the best! So warm and hospitable welcoming, he took care of us during the whole stay. The Riad was really amazing, we enjoyed a lot the rooftop, we had great breakfast. Everything was super super nice! Totally recommend staying here!

Pros: We were traveling together as two friends, and we can say with complete sincerity: this was one of the warmest and most heartfelt stays we have ever experienced. From the very first moment, we felt not like guests, but like truly welcomed and cherished people. We have never met such genuine kindness, care, and hospitality before. The riad became our cozy home during our time in Marrakech. We were always helped, guided, and supported, and shown Morocco in all its beauty — real, vibrant, and full of warmth. This was not just a stay in a riad in Marrakech, but an experience that felt as if we were staying with close relatives who were truly happy to have us. We leave with not only memories of Marrakech, but also with a deep sense of gratitude and warmth in our hearts. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. We will definitely return 🤍

Cons: The Wi-Fi was not always working during our stay, but honestly we didn’t come to Marrakech to sit on the internet. Still, it would be wonderful if this could be improved for future guests.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Riad Merstane. Rachid was so friendly and helpful. He provided a really useful map to navigate the local area until we were familiar. The riad is so comfortable, clean and homely. We enjoyed breakfast in the beautiful inner courtyard to start the day. We loved the location. It’s within the medina walls but outside the main centre so lovely and quiet but we felt very safe the whole time. It was a short but interesting walk into the centre. Highly recommended.

Beautiful riad in the quieter side of the city, with friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: The staff was super friendly, attentive and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the house kitty was very adorable!

Cons: The WiFi connection wasn’t good, and the shower didn’t have consistent hot water.

Pros: Property is away from the main tourist area. Lovely quiet Riad. Staff were excellent and super helpful.

Pros: Riad Merstane was a truly beautiful stay. Something so noticeable was how quickly it felt like home. Rachid’s casual and caring attitude combined with a high standard of service made for such a warm experience. All of the staff were brilliant - with a special mention to Mohamed the night guardian, who made us feel so safe and welcome throughout our stay, as well as providing friendly chats. Rachid also gave us some great recommendations of things to do in town. The room was gorgeous, spacious yet cosy with a traditional feel, and clean. The riad itself is a stunning example, a true oasis in the chaos of the medina. I wish I could be having a delicious breakfast there every morning. The interiors have such a homely feel, after a while it’s like you’re staying in a distant family member’s place. Well located around a 20 minute walk through the souks to the main square. We loved staying here and you will too!

Cons: AC in the room could have been a little better for the hotter nights. Bit tricky to find, make sure you call them when you’re nearby!

Pros: The property was clean and the location was good within easy reach of most attractions in Medina.I must mention Rachid and Mohammad,our hosts who were super helpful and kind in every way.They facilitated our stay and we felt at home.

Cons: Wi-Fi signal was a bit of a problem at times.
