Vibrant Medina Loft and Roof Top

Pros: The apartment is a peaceful escape from the chaotic medina. It was spacious for 4 people and there is a lovely roof top to relax. The host was great, very attentive and we would highly recommend!

A wonderful long weekend - I’d definitely return.

Pros: Fantastic location in the heart of the Medina. Very clean, luxurious towels, comfortable beds, good wifi, and breakfast delivered. Bread, cheese, eggs, and good pots, pans, and crockery.

Fantastic host and great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of busy and noisy Medina

Pros: The host Elisa is fantastic - very welcoming and responsive. Even drove us to a local swimming pool, given that she could not install the roof top pool with the weather not yet being good enough. Overall we had a great time here. However, the location is very intense with kids however, as it's just extremely busy and quite noisy - as all of downtown Medina. It's within easy walking distance to all local attractions though. The beds are comfortable.

Cons: Even if the pool couldn't be opened yet on the roof terrace (which btw is very small and this wasn't really clear to us when we booked), I think the roof terrace could have been a little more welcoming. However, I understand that the right season for using the roof terrace was only just starting and that the weather can be unpredictable. Facilities are good, but I am not sure I would give them 4 star (e.g. the hair dryer is pretty lousy, quite basic kitchen utensils etc).

We loved our time in this gem of an apartment

Pros: Extremely central yet quiet. Safe, well decorated and clean. Lovely roof terrace.

Pros: Elisa is a wonderful host. We kept in close contact with her during our stay and she was very responsive. The property was completely renovated a year ago and is in pristine condition. We stayed there during the earthquake which didn't leave a scratch on the building, which shows that it's well built and robust and safe. The amount of high quality space that this property provides in the middle of the Medina is unique, as is the privacy that we enjoyed on the roof terrace.

Cons: The only negative note is that the street is very noisy until well into the night. For those who follow the local rhythm that's not a problem, but for us early birds it was a bit of a nuisance. So bring earplugs.

Great stay

Pros: Location great, it had moroccan arquitecture which was beautiful, private and beautiful terrace, the host answered quickly any questions we had. Beautifully decorated apartment overall. Early check-in.

Cons: We had the impression that there was a swimming pool on the rooftop. Re: facilities, bio. We didn't like to see left over food and drinks in the fridge from other previous guests. A complimentary unopened bottle of water in the fridge would have been appreciated as the apartment is not easy to find and was hot in July afternoon.

Lovely apartment in the middle of the souk

Pros: The apartment is very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. It has a lovely rooftop which is really nice to get out of the hustle and bustle and to watch the sunset. Host was very responsive and helpful on WhatsApp.

Cons: It is an apartment so there are some amenities/services that come with a hotel that you obviously forego with the option. Its quite hard to find at first and really difficult to drive in - only really early the morning that is possible. Taxis seemed to only want to drop off at the other side of the main square no matter how much you insist on other drop offs that might be closer, so the walk is usually at least 15mins (which is only an issue for those less mobile). It should also be expected that it’s quite noisy at night as you’re right in the souk (we were also there during Ramadan).

Pros: Fabulous, well equipped and comfortable - with air conditioning

Mooi appartement op een mooie locatie

Pros: Super mooie locatie in het hartje van de “locals”. Twee ruime slaapkamers, grote keuken en ruime woonkamer. Lekker dakterras met verschillende niveaus. Van buiten lijkt het niet veel, maar van binnen mooi!

Cons: De airco in de woonkamer deed het niet. Hierdoor konden we niet verwarmen, terwijl het in de nacht redelijk koud was

Pros: Nos alojamos en este riad con un grupo de 5 amigas y fue, sin duda, uno de los grandes aciertos del viaje. Los espacios estaban impecables y limpios. Cada rincón del riad tenía algo especial, y se notaba el cuidado en cada detalle. El desayuno fue delicioso, variado, cada mañana venían a traérnoslo al apartamento para el día siguiente. Además, la ubicación es buena para moverse por Marrakech y explorar la medina, es complicado de encontrar, pero Elisa nos puso un taxi desde el aeropuerto para que no nos perdiésemos, todo un encanto. Recomiendo este lugar al 100%. ¡Sin duda volveríamos!
