Amazing

Pros: Everything was amazing. Especially Youssef who was an amazing host. Very attentive and helpful and always responded quickly to any requests. Location was just a short walk to the square and close to everything you may need.

Excellent stay with very hospitable hosts

Pros: Beautiful property, lovely roof terrace, location in the medina was good (about 25 minutes walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa). Two comfortable bedrooms. Nicely decorated and furnished and well maintained and clean. What made it more special though was the lovely attention and service offered by Youssef and Buchra. Youssef was so kind and helpful and available by WhatsApp if needed and Buchra provided a lovely breakfast on the terrace each morning.

Cons: Not much to dislike, toilets were small given the ample size of the property but that is very minor. For anyone less mobile then the layout of the Riad over several floors could be an issue but it was fine for us.

Pros: Amazing and clean property, special mention for the nice hot shower. Facilities were great, staff were attentive especially Youseff who went out of his way to make our stay extra comfortable, thank you.

Great experience and location

Pros: Great Host, great location, great space and well recommended. Just outside the hustle but vert easy to reach the main attractions on foot. Yousef arranges everything for you, just ask. Nice breakfast every morning so all combined this will not disappoint.

Pros: We had a great stay at this authentic riad in the Medina. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, which was really nice, but still only a short walk to everything. Special thank you to Youssef, who was super helpful and informative and helped us with everything during our stay. He really made us feel welcome. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious, freshly made breakfast prepared by Bouchra — the perfect way to start the day. Recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable and authentic place to stay in Marrakech.

Excellent place for a real marrakesh vibe with style and hospitality

Pros: We had an excellent stay and were pampered all the way through. From the pick-up to the drop-off, all wishes were granted! 😊 Breakfast was extraordinary on the terrace, we had huuuuge rooms and the interior is super stylish. Everything was close by, yet it was really quiet. What a great stay!

Cons: Not a critique, but it is on 3 stories with narrow steps, so people with limited mobility or small children should be aware. The bathrooms were a little too small and inconvenient considering the appartment was that big.

Pleasent and welcoming

Pros: It was big and clean and youssef and bouchra made our stay very pleasent and comfy he helped us around the city as well

Pros: Our host Youssef was very helpful, picked us up from the parking lot, explained everything and helped us with shopping. He also took care of our stay as we continued our journey through Morocco. Breakfast was very good. Well-equipped riad.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Riad Le Jardin des Matières. The villa is beautiful, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering its location right on the edge of the Medina—perfect for dipping into the bustle of Marrakech and then retreating to a peaceful base. The host was super responsive and helpful from the moment we booked. We would like to give a special shoutout to Youssef, who really went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. He arranged daily transport, including reliable airport transfers, all at very reasonable prices. He was always available to help—whether it was organising taxis, recommending fair prices for local handicrafts or simply making sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, he couldn’t do enough for us! Highly recommended if you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable and well-located riad with excellent support on the ground.
