Riad Jenan L'mouassine

Pros: The Riad was beautiful, in a great location jn the centre of the city (although you definitely need google maps to find it) and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. It was great value for money!

Pros: The riad is nicely located in the medina, the breakfast was very good and the staff are friendly.

Cons: Some areas could be improved, such as: - Adding a sign to make the riad easier to find, as it was a bit difficult to locate at first. - Improving the quality of the mattresses and bed sheets for greater comfort. - Allowing guests independent access to the riad’s front door. (I’m not sure if this is common practice in all riads, but each time we wanted to enter, we had to knock and wait for a staff member to open the door for us. Although they were quick to respond, having our own access would have been more convenient.)

Pros: I really liked the staff and their kindness and flexibility. More so, the breakfast was very good. The location is very quiet which in marrakech is something I am pretty happy about.

Pros: Location WAS good.. just follow Google maps.. and look for door 81 Ring the bell and someone WILL come and open the door. Very friendly lady owner who spoke good English. Great breakfast

Pros: The treatment was excellent. We felt so comfortable. We booked an activity at 7:00 so we couldn’t have the breakfast that was included, they offered us the breakfast to take away and they prepared it the night before. Such a nice people, thank you so much. The room was excellent too. We will recommend it !!

Beautiful riad in the heart of Marrakech, a bit hard to find but good value for the money!

Pros: The host was very friendly and the main areas were very beautiful!

Cons: A bit of humid smell in the entrance and ground floor, felt a bit stiff.

Very well priced and traditional place to stay in the heart of Marrakech, would recommend.

Pros: The traditional feel of the riad and it was well furnished for guests. Bed was comfortable. We had to leave early next morning before breakfast started so they packed us a breakfast to take away which was very thoughtful.

Cons: Hard to find as the riad is not clearly signposted and situated down a very secluded backstreet within the heart of marrakech. We walked past it 3 times before we were told what door we had to knock by a local. Air conditioning could have been a little better but we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were so lovely! Anything you need they will do for you! So grateful!

Pros: Quite tricky to find, but other than that super! Bed was clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked, bathroom clean, no complaints!

Pros: Everything was fine, the room was clean and bed was good enough to sleep. This was one of many hotels I stayed and can say that Marroco has a general bed issue. The base of the beds on most hotels I stayed was the same. Cranky, noisy and sturdy. So it's not only here. I had my own bathroom outside the room but that floor was only used by me so was fine. I could sleep peacefully and they respected my time and peace. They also gave good suggestions for bathhouse and food. The staff was kind and honest with their opinion which for me as a tourist well appreciated. I did not have breakfast here or any other services so I cannot attest for that.

Cons: Location is hard for access with taxi or any means of transport. Best to walk as what you will pay is not worth it. Near center of the plaza so it's a quick walk. You will have to deal with the suitcase and noise because the streets are made of rock but people don't seem to mind it. If you have a heavy luggage some people will help you take your things to your hotel but they will ask for money. Don't trust the taxi drivers as some will get you another place or just circle around to tell you they can't access and you have to walk. Which is true, but again they should be honest and many will not tell you.
