Casa Taos

Pros: Absolutely loved my time at Casa Taos although was too short and can’t wait to go back. The staff were amazing, including the owners, who all looked after my every need. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything thought of and I loved the art dotted all over the property as well as the many cactuses in every corner, even some in the pool! The food was heavenly - from breakfast to dinner. Wonderful homemade yogurt, cheese, tapenade with freshly squeezed juice from mandarins in their garden to start the day, to hake tagine and of course wonderful Moroccan salads and meze. Thank you so much and I hope to be back soon!

Don’t hesitate to book

Pros: Hint and the team were absolutely lovely. Welcoming and professional. The pool area is beautiful. I had a real fire in my room which was made every day for me.

Cons: The white rug with black lines in the room needs a good clean The cleaners left cleaning rags and fluids in my room three times. The bath was uncomfortable with steps into it so you couldn’t relax in the bath. The area outside the hotel is scruffy. Not the hotel’s fault. These are just small things.

A little paradise outside Marrakech

Pros: A little paradise outside Marrakech. Beautiful place, nicely decorated rooms, great pool, good food and super friendly staff. We loved it!!

Very impressive and well run guest house with gorgeous gardens

Pros: We were so impressed with Casa Taos. The owner, Hicham, is really experienced and on it and the whole organisation of the place reflects this. His staff are fantastic. The grounds are beautiful with various seating/sunbed/hammock areas scattered around. The pool and terrace area was well designed and equipped with lots of sunbeds and several convivial lounge seating areas where we sat for an aperitif and to play a game. The food was genuinely outstanding - an amazing choice of interesting and lovely quality lunch options; dinner offered a choice of starters and a set main of the day - again, outstanding. Nice to be able to buy beer and wine. The big dining tables and the way they were set allowed you to keep yourselves to yourselves or easily chat to other guests over meals. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with things like double layer curtains. Really recommended as a change to staying in the medina.

Cons: It’s a 30 minute or so drive into the centre, be prepared for the usual ups and downs with Marrakesh taxi drivers and to allocate a budget to taxi trips.

Fantastic relaxing spot away from the madness of the city

Pros: Really peaceful, about 20 minutes from Marrakech and the airport. Wonderful hosts and food. Rooms are great.

Fabulous Guest House

Pros: We came here for the second time. Welcome us with a drink and a piece of homemade cake. Love everything, beautiful tropical garden, organic ingredients, all Hicham, his wife and their well-behaved, friendly, sweet pet dog are so lovely.

Pros: Everything. This place has a real soul and it was a little piece of heaven for a week.

Pros: The staff provided exceptional service. The cuisine exceeded expectations, featuring home-style cooking with fresh bio ingredients. I particularly loved the homemade lemon and orange jams and the olive tapenade served at breakfast. The property was stunning and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I would recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with excellent service and delicious food.
