Riad 5 sens

I could not recommend this Riad enough and the team could not have done more to help

Pros: The property was so beautiful. So many little rooms to go to and the roof terrace too! We didn’t try the pool, because it was a bit cold, but on a hot day, it would be lovely.

Cons: The weather was cooler than in the high season, so we were a bit cold. But they kindly gave us a radiator which made it all warm again!

Amazing stay with a wonderful host

Pros: Beautiful property. Comfortable, clean rooms. Breakfast. Everything is walkable. Sofian is an amazing host. He is warm, attentive and available. He was kind to share his dinner the day I arrived because I was late. Will definitely recommend and come back

Very welcoming

Pros: The atmosphere, the staff and the location. The owner and all the staff were great. They were very welcoming and always made sure that everything was fine and that we were comfortable.

Just what we needed

Pros: Sofian and his team are simply the best hosts. It was such a unique experience having always stayed in hotels or apartments. We felt welcomed to his home, but with space and privacy. The breakfast was perfect and we enjoyed some wine and gin & tonic in the evening. We stayed in the family room with 2 very comfortable single beds and an elevated mezzanine area with a very firm double bed. A bit too firm for my taste but lovely bedding and good quality pillows and duvet. Very personal, relaxed experience. Wouldn’t change it and would book again.

Cons: One of the 3 beds was very firm Quiet street which my friend found intimidating but we had no hassle, Sofian escorted us to a busier spot a couple of nights and its common in the medina so not unique to this Riad.

Home away from home in Marrakech

Pros: We loved our stay at the Riad 5 sens. All of the staff were exceptional and so welcoming. We really felt whilst we were there that we had a home in the city. The property itself was charming, beautifully decorated and nice and peaceful. The room was really spacious and the bed really comfy. We had plenty of areas around the riad to relax, including a beautiful terrace and lounge areas. The breakfast was so generous and really delicious - such a great start to the day which kept us full for so long! The location of the riad is just in the medina, but feels like a quieter and less chaotic corner but with easy access to centre. There’s plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby within a 5 minute walk. Thank you very much for a lovely stay and for your kind hospitality. We will certainly be back. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Pros: We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful riad in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, Sofian and his staff made us feel so incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and genuine kindness. They had Moroccan tea waiting for us, along with a few little treats and even kindly upgraded our room. They went above and beyond to accommodate every request, making sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was simply outstanding - each meal bursting with Moroccan flavours and beautifully presented each time. One of the sweetest touches was the cutest cat who wandered around the riad, adding a cosy vibe to the whole experience. This riad truly felt like a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, and we couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone wanting an unforgettable Moroccan getaway!

Tranquil. You’re in safe hands with Abdou. Wonderful staff and amazing breakfast on the terrace.

Pros: The Riad is clean, beautifully maintained and the breakfast on the terrace is superb. My son and I stayed here and the host Abdou was more than a host - he was a well of wisdom and kindness. We wanted to go to the desert for a few days and were unsure about which of the many agents to use as there are so many options of varying quality and without prior knowledge one could easily end up with an unpleasant experience. We left it to Abdou to arrange and he instinctively knew what we needed. Our tour was life changing and Abdou had arranged some very special accommodation options for us so at the end of each long day we had a perfect meal in beautiful accommodation. I would highly recommend 5 Sens as a place to base yourself and leave it to Abdou to sort the rest ‘cause he’s the best!

Ideal location and terrifically proactive staff… we felt very much at home!

Pros: Ideal location, central but very quiet. The staff were really friendly and super helpful, particularly Abdo who was an exceptional communicator, taking great care to ensure we had a smooth arrival, brilliant stay and was also very proactive in helping us with our forward plans.

Clean, accommodating staff, beautiful breakfast & great location.

Pros: Very clean, well kept and beautiful property in a great location. A tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. Staff are wonderfully accommodating and very helpful. A beautiful breakfast is provided each day, all homemade and locally sourced. Abdo was very helpful in arranging transfers to the airport, collecting us from our drop off location and carrying our luggage back to the riad. Sharing tips for getting around the medina and what to expect when buying in the market. Offering to print boarding passes and always at our service. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Cons: Our bed was a little hard but nothing that would put me off staring at this property again.

a beautiful riad in the middle of marrakech

Pros: the riad is a quaint and beautiful one located close to all the main sights in marrakech. abdo and his lovely team took great care of us from the moment we reached marrakech! the room was clean, beautifully done and exactly like the photos. we stayed for a couple of nights and abdo made sure to check on us, asked if we needed anything and was ready to give us advice always. the breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. thank you for such a wonderful stay! would recommend 10/10 ✨
