A great, quiet place to stay very close to all the action!

Pros: The landlord hospitality and flexibility, allowing us to leave our luggage with him whilst we were on a 3 day tour of the dessert. Breakfast was great, and the rooms very nice.

Cons: The access to the Riad can feel a bit overwhelming the first time, a bit hidden at the end of the Zoco, at the end of an alley - but at night it was perfectly lit, and we had no problem finding it.

Calm oasis in the heart of the souk with outstanding service

Pros: Beautiful stay at La Maison Berber Shams. A real calm oasis in the middle of the souk with stunning rooms and interiors. Breakfast was great and the staff were brilliant, even rushing to prepare it for us at short notice when we were in a hurry on checkout day. A fantastic location, lovely atmosphere and genuinely caring people. We would happily stay here again.

Pros: Recommend if you want to be in the heart of the city - well located with very little noise from outside. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very clean and the shower had warm running water. There was even a really nice warm blanked for the cold January nights.

Cons: Nothing :) It was great for our one night stay.

Nice small, traditional riad situated within the souks. Recommended for an authentic stay.

Pros: The location was nice and cozy, accessible only through the souks, in the end of a narrow street. The breakfast was simple but good. The hosts were very helpful and nice. The riad had a nice traditional feel and our room was big.

Cons: We visited during winter. The room got pretty cold even with the heater on. The water pressure was quite low at times, making showering difficult. The breakfast got repetitive after a while. The double bed was two beds connected, so there was a small gap in the middle.
