A very pleasant and welcoming Riad

Pros: Very beautiful and peaceful Riad with really helpful and kind staff. They are very considerate, thoughtful and made our stay very pleasant. The rooftop is a nice and quiet place to relax. Would come back again!

Cons: The rooms are not very soundproof.

Pros: Hosts and staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. Rooms were very clean and the Riad was nicely designed and well maintained. Location is very central when it comes the old city, however the closest bus station is a little far with around 15 minutes of walking since buses don't go into the old city. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet despite the noise of the surrounding area. Bathroom facilities were somewhat dated and I don't think they provided shampoo (at least not the type that we're used to in other hotels). Breakfast was very satisfying with a range of food and beverages, however if you do need to ask for a takeaway breakfast due to timing issues the amount and variety you get is much more limited. Biggest complaint would be the wifi was very unstable which was semi-fixed when I asked the host to switch to their other network. The wifi signal in my room specifically (number 2) on the ground floor was quite weak.

Pros: The staff was fantastic extremley helpful and friendly. Look after all our needs in our stay in Marrakech. Small hotel it gave a homely feeling. Super Location.

So luxurious

Pros: Great location and the place is so nice, loved the fire and the fact that we could have tea and biscuits in the evening when back at the hotel. Breakfast was also lovely!

Lovely riad in a great location

Pros: Great staff, very nice atmosphere, large room, lovely breakfast. Taxi transfer from and to airport was really useful and the excursions we booked through the Riad were very good and great value.

Pros: We arrived at 7 a.m. and the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and lovely, just like the photos.

Oasis in the heart of Mellah

Pros: Beautiful Riad, super friendly staff, perfect location, peace and quiet inside and on the comfortable rooftop, great breakfast, cozy bed and i loved the bathroom design

Cons: Very small thing: Due to the architecture there is little light when staying on the ground floor and it is sometimes a bit difficult to get fresh air into the room.

A friendly and peaceful haven in the old Jewish Quarter.

Pros: For me this Riad was perfect. Riad Alia feels lived in, old, but in a good way. It's what I expected and wanted for a trip to an old city. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Mellah, the Jewish Quarter of Marrakech, 5 minutes walk from the action of Tinsmith Square and Bahia Palace, 20 mins from the madness of Jemaa El-Fnaa square and within half an hour of everywhere in the walled city. Yet inside the walls of the Riad, surprising peace and tranquility. Of course there's often a little noise creeping in, but it is a peaceful haven. Staff were always friendly, and helpful from the moment we booked. And there is always someone awake, day and night, to open the sturdy old front door. Happy to arrange transfers, drivers and trips to everywhere. Of course you can arrange for taxis and drivers for less, but I was happy to pay a little more and know my drivers were recommended by the hotel. If I came back to Marrakech I would come back here.

Cons: It seemed best to get a shower earlier or later, rather than at the end of the morning rush, when it was a little colder than I expected!
