Idyllic, hospitable and wonderful

Pros: Tayeb was fantastic and so helpful - met us from our airport pick up, took our luggage and walked us to the accomodation (which was nearby to where the drivers dropped us off) and did the same upon returning us to the airport. He was wonderful and I would highly highly highly recommend staying here. The hosts were so welcoming and hospitable - really don't have a bad word to say. The location was fantastic and right in the heart of the medina. The walls were quite thin so not much soundproofing but quiet enough to sleep at night. Felt safe for 2 British girls. The dar was beautiful - the rooms were comfortable, well designed, spacious, clean. Beautiful traditional Moroccan breakfasts delivered in the morning too. One of the most wonderful stays I've ever had!

Pros: Had a fantastic stay. House was very clean and comfortable. Loved the outside terrace. Great communication from the owners and Tayeb was so friendly and helpful. Tayebs mum cooked for us twice, the food was amazing!

Pros: Great central location. High quality accommodation. Perfect for a family. Walk to everything. Host met us at the recommended car park which made the initial check-in process a breeze.

Pros: The terrace was a lovely extra & the interior was all beautiful and clean. There was plenty of space for 5 people. The option to have home cooked meals was amazing & the food was delicious, especially the breakfast.

Very spacious, perfect location

Pros: Perfect location at the heart of the Medina. The house is very spacious and with a nice rooftop. Tayeb was super friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Cons: Take into account that you cannot reach the accommodation by taxi, but Tayeb was so kind to help us with our luggage.

Perfect for a stay in central Marrakech

Pros: Central location in the Medina, yet surprisingly quiet, even on the rooftop terrace; cool in hot weather; very clean; helpful host Tayeb; excellent home-cooked tagines available.

Cons: Kitchen facilities are limited (this was not a problem)

Pros: Tayab our host was fantastic and did everything we could have wished for. Anytime we needed information and help with daily tasks Tayab was there to make our trip that more memorable.

Cons: The property was in an ideal location, short walk from all the main sites and immunities.

Private haven in Marrakech

Pros: We loved everything about our stay at Dar Kamilya. The place is brand new but has an old soul. Tayeb brought us freshly made breakfast on the terrace each morning - freshly made bread and orange juice, such a delicious spread. The place is gorgeous and such a nice private haven to get back to after the busyness of the medina. The best part, hands down, was how well Tayeb took care of us. His mother made couscous for us one night and it was the most amazing food we had our whole time in Marrakech. Nothing beats home cooking, especially when eaten on the terrace with tea candles lit and the evening sounds of the city. We can’t wait to come back.

Cons: It was cold the first night because we forgot to turn the heaters on, but the blankets were warm and the second night when we turned them on no problem.

Logement bien placé, propre et communication au top

Pros: Le logement est très bien situé, à 10 minutes de la place Jema El Fna, et à 5 minutes des souks. Les nuits sont très calmes. C'est très propre et la communication avec le propriétaire est très facile et réactive. Les services proposés (chauffeur, activités, petits déjeuners...) sont parfaits. La terrasse extérieure est très agréable, et nous avons aimé y prendre nos petits déjeuners.

Cons: Le débit d'eau de la douche du bas pourrait être amélioré.
