VILLA ILYANA

Really enjoyed and glad we chose this villa, it was great for our family with different age group

Pros: We really enjoyed the villa, spacious, different areas to have your own space - 6 adults and 5 kids - ideal layout for the family, swimming pool clean and private. Great to have helper Aisha was helpful to cook tasty meals, clean house, laundry. local shop at the end of the complex for basic needs but nearest shopping mall for proper groceries need taxis about 150MAD each way. We were given a reliable taxi company by the host. Really enjoyed ourselves in Marrakesh, we've recommended the villa to others.

Cons: A/C downstairs was a bit funny midweek. Definitely need to factor in taxis or means of transport to get around.

Would love to come back!

Pros: Great pool. Cleaned. The woman at the house very caring of the cleaning, the towels, bed sheets. Really a nice experience.

Cons: The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working properly. They fixed it by putting a different machine but it was too noisy. We were a bit hot in the room. But doable.

Pros: Very comfortable, grt house help,cleaner plus she is a cook as well. Beautiful house convenient location.

Outstanding and perfect for a relaxing stay!

Pros: Villa was lovely and paired with fantastic hosts. Abdelkhalek and Jamila were both very helpful and friendly. We had a family of 10 including 4 children and was excellent in terms of decor, space, rooms and brilliant pool. Pool was not heated for our stay (it can be requested) but this was absolutely fine given daily temperatures between 36 - 39 Celsius. AirCon in all rooms and we were helped with the number of a good taxi service that were able to provide an excellent minibus for 10 getting into central Marrakech and back.

Cons: Location is a little challenging if you do not have arranged taxis.

Amazing stay with family. Better than imagined.

Pros: The villa’s decor is stunning. It’s beautiful and spacious. The living rooms were comfortable. The housekeeper was just amazing. We bought some food for breakfast and she prepared it every morning for us. We got ingredients for Moroccan mint tea and she made it for us whenever we wanted. We didn’t ask them to cook any food on the menu but did buy some frozen food for the kids which she made at lunch and also made pasta for our kids. The pool was lovely and private. We had a ladies afternoon as a result of it being so private. Someone comes every night to service it as well. The games room has a pool table and foosball table which provided some good entertainment. Beds were really comfortable and the electronic shutters helped block any sun in the morning so we always got a good night sleep. Would recommend this for families and even holidays with friends.

Cons: The location was a bit far. Everything needs a taxi and it costs €15 each way to most places for one car upto 7 people. Even for the shops we had to do a bigger shop as didn’t want to pay for too many car rides.

Very pleasant and safe!

Pros: Property had own pool and was in gated community. Housekeeper was very friendly and flexible.

Incredible villa and location!

Pros: The villa was breathtaking, so much character to it. It was extremely spacious and airy, we loved the balcony at the top and the living room. The heater pool is a must! Late night swim was one of the highlights of our trip! We had a cook that came with the villa and she was amazing! Very friendly and looked after us! She made amazing food!! I have nothing but great words for the host too, whenever we encountered a difficult situation they were there to sort it out and help us. This was truly an excellent service!

Cons: Somel issues with the recommended taxi company - no fault of the host. Taxi company picked us up 45 minutes late from the airport but the host made sure we didn't pay for our fare, which was great. We were also over charged by 5 euros by the same taxi company despite arguing that it says the fair is 15 euros from villa to town and same price back however he charged 20 euros. Thanks to the host we got the money back. On our last night the taxi company owner kept calling during our dinner to pay him more - which was extremely annoying. I had to be firm with him and let him know I already paid as per the agreed amount. He later apologised. My recommendation is make sure you let the taxi company know the set fees (agreed by the host) otherwise they will take advantage of you even for small amounts and keep hassling you for more money.
