Konouz Palace

A little gem with some issues

Pros: House itself is stunning and lovely, it's in a gated community so is very safe and has security guards there all the time. The security guards who worked the night shift we amazing and very helpful. It was stunning and a clean community. I felt very safe staying there

Cons: Kitchen could do with more utensils, and the cleanliness could have been better, there was visible stains on the sofa and rugs and the floor hadn't been sweeped properly. One toilet downstairs had a leak so you had to turn off the water from the tap, we had to find that out ourselves. For the amount you pay I would have expected basic necessities such as shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms. When we stayed the house next door had some wedding or a party going on and I'm not joking when I say music was playing for 36 hours straight all through the night which ruined a night of sleep. The biggest issue was access to the community itself. You have to go through some backwards mud roads that are not really roads at all and they are very difficult to drive on, taxi drivers were being very funny about taking us back there and overcharging massively for driving on those roads, also be aware it's literally in the middle of nowhere. Food delivery apps don't deliver out there either

Pros: Great villa, nice quiet location, not far from the city (15–20 minute drive). I've been to Marrakech before and usually stay at a riad, but this time we brought the children and wanted a much larger place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough. Mandar Atlas ticked all the boxes: Ali and the team were very welcoming.

Nice stay

Pros: Very responsive host. Very much space in the house and a big garden. Safe place to stay.

Cons: The quality of used materials in the house is quite poor. Barely hot water when using the shower. Not much kitchen equipment.

A beautiful oasis

Pros: Mandar Atlas was a beautiful oasis. A little out from the city center but that's what we were looking for. The villa was big and nicely decorated. The rooms were very clean. We got 2 villas beside each other and were easily able to go between the 2. The staff were also very helpful with booking taxis and recommendations for local spots.

Amazing, fantastic, phenomenal

Pros: The villas were amazing, very spacious and very well looked after. We came as a large party taking up 2 villas due to a wedding near by. The villas had all of the necessary comforts and more.

Cons: Some taxi drivers did not know the location. But this was an easy fix for anyone with Google maps.

Absolutely YES! Everything you see & better PLUS wonderful personal help from the staff!

Pros: We stayed as a group of 6 friends and COULD NOT have been happier with our choice. The villa is SO spacious, really was an experience in itself. We were 4 hours late for check in and we ask for extra services .. and all our requests were met with a smile and a YES! The air con worked in every room, the shutters were a massive help. The pool was clean, the surrounding grass was lush and just a great space to chill out in . Groups/guest should keep in mind that this villa is very isolated, so if you want peace and space to make a little noise, this is it. But you REALLY DO need to come with a car full of groceries and drinking water! Toilet rolls were supplied in abundance :) Dont forget herbs, cooking oils, hand towel paper and dishwashing tablets.

Cons: An added bonus would have been if the apartment staff keep some basics on hand.. as mentioned above. The only thing of the entire stay that we were surprised about was that hey do not supply dishwasher tablets. We also asked about purchasing those big containers of water & a pump/dispenser but without luck. This would save allot of plastic and would be a great bonus for the customer, whom I am SURE would be happy to have for the privilege.

Excellent place to stay at in Marrakech

Pros: I really liked the privacy of the villa. We enjoyed staying here so much 😁

Cons: The Villa is located 14 km from the center of Marrakech, making it challenging to reach the city without a car or taxi. It is also an 8-minute drive from the nearest place to buy food.

An oasis of calm in close proximity of Marrakech

Pros: Very spacious villa stylishly decorated. All rooms had their own en suite and balcony. Lovely big, private garden with a huge private pool

Amazing place host and villa would recommend to all

Pros: The host and villa was exceptional and met my needs efficiently. Special mention to Ali and his team.
