Pros: The riyad was beautiful and in a fantastic location near the market. It was clean and tidy and cosy.

Cons: The stay was great but the communication was difficult at times as they didn't speak English at the riyad.

Beautiful traditional family riad in the heart of the city.

Pros: Beautiful riad, a calm, welcoming, homely environment that felt like an oasis in the heart of the city. We were looked after very well from the moment we arrived, especially by Zedzed who served us dinner (which was absolutely delicious! Proper home cooked chicken tagine with Moroccan soup starter and traditional sides) and was very attentive throughout the stay. Very special place.

Pros: 10/10 experience! Riad Makene Mouchkill is an absolute gem. The rooms are cozy and clean, and the breakfast is delicious, but the staff are the real highlight. They made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to make my girlfriend’s birthday extra special. It’s the perfect relaxing escape from the busy streets of Marrakesh. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for an amazing stay!

Pros: The staff were extremely friendly, the food was fantastic, and the rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to the Ben Yousuf Madrasa and le jardín secret.

Pros: It is an absolutely outstanding riad. The hospitality and kindness, food nothing was a problem. Transport was organised by the riad. Perfect location to explore the city. Highly recommended. Thank you so much. We will be back.

A great location for a short stay. Very helpful staff. We felt safe and well looked after.

Pros: Excellent location for socking up the atmosphere and culture. Breakfast was excellent and requests for extra tea and coffee were dealt with very quickly. Rooms were very comfortable and customer service before arrival and during stay was excellent.

Cons: A little more variety at breakfast would have been nice - we stayed for 4 nights and was the same each morning. Delicious, but always the same.

Charming and welcoming place to stay!

Pros: Absolutely charming authentic Riad to stay in Marrakesh. Tastefully and beautifully decorated in style with an old city, but having all the facilities tourist needs - hot water, air conditioner, great WiFi, comfortable bed with warm duvet (yes, it gets cold at night in December). Super clean, cozy, conveniently located and quite. Staff is very welcoming and accommodating, communication is quick and easy through WhatsApp. Highly recommended indeed! Just want to mention - do use the offered service of providing a taxi from and to the airport, the host will meet you at the taxi and show the way to Riad, which is just a 3min walk, but better to be shown the way. Also very helpful going back as booking a taxi can be a challenge in Marrakesh.

Amazing amazing amazing

Pros: The property was beautiful. Great location. Lovely breakfast, lovely people, very clean. Such a hospitable host - we had a very very lovely time and would highly recommend. Our first night at the Riad was our first night in Marrakesh ever, the lovely host sat us down and spoke us through navigating around the Souks, he gave us a map and some key landmarks. All super helpful, it made our wandering around the medina a very lovely experience.
