Top quality!

Pros: An amazing 17 century building with a beautiful yard and a lovely roof terrace. A tower where you can have a panoramic view of the Medina, we absolutely loved everything. Muhammad, one of the staff members made everything run so smoothly with a great sense of humour and a warm smile always! Definitely recommended to all kinds of travelers!

Beauty and comfort

Pros: We were well talen care of. Breakfast by the fireplace on cold January mornings was great! The staff were accomodating, friendly and helpful. We would definitely return and recommend this Riad for a stay.

A lovely place and amazing value

Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff, the roof terrace is beautiful

Cons: The service could be quite slow at times. Also having to knock on the door and sometimes wait 5/10 minutes to be let into the riad is a bit frustrating after a long day of walking around.

Exceptional staff

Pros: Everything was really lovely. The place is well cared for, tastefully decorated, very clean, and also quiet, we felt very comfortable. Our room was very large, with two separate areas divided by a corridor, a walk in wardrobe, and a spacious bathroom. Towels were changed twice during our three night stay, which we appreciated. Breakfast was also very good. A special mention goes to Mohammed and Nadia, who were incredible. They were kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. In fact, all the staff were extremely friendly and always willing to accommodate our requests, which made a real difference to our stay.

Cons: There was a smell of smoke in the room, coming from the fireplaces downstairs. In the morning the smell was quite strong, it woke me up and sometimes made me feel a bit concerned. I would suggest checking or improving the fireplaces to solve this issue.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay with my family. The people were very friendly and helpful, and everyone made us feel welcome. We stayed with our toddler and all of us truly enjoyed the experience. Special thanks to Mohammed and the other lad , the lady manager also . Everyone made us very welcome and helped with all the queries we had .

Pros: The staff were very nice and welcoming. The place was very clean too.

Cons: Location wise it was in a bit of a sketchy area but so are most riads in the medina.

Fantastic Riad in a historic 400 y.o. house in the Medina

Pros: Beautiful and skillfully refurbished 400 year old house with original doors and locks! A quiet oasis in the chaotic bustle of the souks! The staff were some of the friendliest people we met in all of Morocco, especially Ibrahim, and spoke excellent English! Great breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the Medina! Rooms were stylish and clean! Close to the main souk so excellent for shopping!

Cons: A bit far from the \

Magical nights in Marrakech !

Pros: Our room was spectacular ! When you run thru the small streets, you can't imagine how the hotel looks like. A real dream ! Architecture & interior was top. Also 10/10 for the staff, location & breakfast. Don't hesitate, go & have a magical night !

Cons: Remember to get back your passports, they & we forgot to give/take it back, which was a bit annoying when you make a roundtrip. C

*Free water in the rooms would be good;

Pros: Everything was nice! The Riad is super authentic and stylish. It feels like you take yourself to the middle century. Every morning I started with the gorgeous view from the rooftop. We were talking with the guests and sharing our plans for the day. So, the atmosphere is wonderful. I think, Dar El Qadi is a perfect place to discover Marrakech as well.

Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect!

Pros: The place is absolutely beautiful, it looks like the pictures. The bed is comfy, the place is quiet...

Cons: Although the place is really nice, and the room causes a wow impression, the drain of the shower was clogged, and the water was covering my feet.. The other thing with the property was the communication wasn't as good, both times I needed to reach out, I was left on read. And although i had paid in advance through Booking, right at my check-out time-- aka, when I had to pick up the taxi to the airport at 3am, the staff was telling me the bill wasn't settled, which took a while as he claimed not been paid. Last, but not least, I felt a bit uncomfortable with the staff approach, maybe he was trying to be (too) nice, but I felt my personal space was crossed.
