Pros: From the very first moment, they were incredibly kind, respectful, and always willing to help. They make you feel welcome, like you're at home, and they're attentive to every detail. What's more, the location is excellent, the hotel is clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing after exploring Marrakech. Without a doubt, the personal touch makes all the difference.

Pros: It’s the attitude of the guys working there that I will remember the most from this hostel. I spent five days there, and every time they’d see me they’d ask me if everything was ok and if I needed anything. Plus, one evening, a young woman had a small accident, she broke the glass of a table in the reception area, and I don’t know if it was Anwar or Abdoullah who reached the spot first (I was upstairs, in the dorm), but I was impressed to hear that his first two questions were “are you ok? Are you ok?” Once he made sure the woman was ok, he went on to assure her that the broken glass was no problem. I’ve been to hostels before where a damage like this was immediately treated with a “you’ll have to pay a fine for that”, without any care about the… culprit’s health, so… yeah, I was impressed. Not sure I write their names correctly, but Anwar, Abdoullah, as well as everyone else working there, was very-very nice. Top memory.

Cons: I know budget places in Morocco don’t come with heating, I get it, I’ve made my peace with that a long time ago, but the dorm I stayed in could do with at least a proper door you could close, as well as proper windows you could close. The “investment” needed is minimal, and both can be done in a single day, in a couple of hours actually. Especially the door was a problem; you could sort of “lock” it from inside, but then no one could come in, and every time some other guest staying in the same dorm came, you’d have to get out of bed, pull aside the two blankets, and open the door for him/her. So, we ended up leaving the door slightly open practically all day long.

Very nice hostel experience

Pros: I booked the private room for two nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plenty and the room was clean. The terrace is very nice to just chill out on and talk to the others in the hostel. The location of the hostel is very easy to find and in a more open space than a lot of the small alleys. So all and all nothing to complain about for the price.

Cons: If there was one minus, it was that the room had no heating and would be a bit chilly, especially at night. But if you go in any other season than winter that won’t be problem I suppose.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, late check-in, and a luggage room

Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, and late check-in was possible. They even stayed in contact with me until I arrived. There’s also a luggage room. I 100% recommend this place!

Cons: All was good

Good location, historical building, kind staff.

Pros: Very kind staff. Old historical building. Very good location. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Completely satisfactory price-value.

Cons: Showers and toilets are not the most comfortable ones. Breakfast was quite lame. No fresh fruit or vegetable. Little protein.
