Luxury & serenity in a great location

Pros: An oasis of calm and beauty in a great location in the Medina. Very tastefully decorated- the photos don’t do it justice. Heated pool. Open fireplace that was lit for us on chilly nights by the wonderful Abdoul - the night caretaker. Delicious dinner and assortment of snacks prepared for us by Bouchera - the amazing cook. Beautiful terrace to enjoy meals in the sunshine with birds tweeting and the call to prayer in the background- blissful.

Cons: Nothing - maybe a little pricy but you get what you pay for.

Stunning

Pros: Stunning! Just as beautiful as the pictures. Location perfect, near everything. Few minutes walk to the markets. Hidden away. It was so peaceful inside considering the chaos of the markets/roads outside. Spotlessly clean. Went with group of friends, Plenty of space to socialise there. Loved the rooftop and pool. Staff were amazing. Bouchra, Abdul and Rashida were great, very helpful and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Arranged taxis and made sure we got in them safe and back safe. Had lunch one day at the Riad and this was lovely, we wished we’d done this more than once. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. Would love to go back.

Cons: Nothing. Perfect 😍 NO reflection on the property but good for people to know. Transfers/taxis can’t pull up outside the Riad so drop you off couple of minutes away. We’d booked our own transfers prior to arriving. As soon as you get out the car men with carts unload your luggage without asking/ giving choice and take you to your Riad…as it’s not clear where to go/not well signed posted and then they obviously want money. Our man was very pushy about what he wanted and wasn’t happy with what we gave him. So please be aware! Also we believe we were scammed into believing one case had been left in the taxi. Another man went to ‘rescue ‘it telling us he knew the driver. Came back few minutes later with the case…again wanted money but more than what we offered. After this we were very aware of everyone!!

Amazing!

Good location

Pros: It was a lovely riad with a beautiful terrace and good breakfast. The staff were lovely especially Ahmed and Bouchra. They were very attentive and really nice, they became like family during our stay

Cons: Each room was said to have djellabas. There were no djellabas in one of the rooms which the property accused me of taking. I was not happy about this as at first they were going to charge me for something I hadn’t taken and then charge the staff. They were not there in the first place

Paradise in Marrakech

Pros: A corner of paradise in the heart of the Marrakech medina. A dreamy pool and rooftop terrace that make you want to spend the whole day relaxing at the Riad. Aurélie and her team were incredibly kind and helpful in organizing everything we needed to make our stay perfect and our visit to the city easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Pros: Hosts Buschra, Rachida and Abdel are exceptional. No amount of accolades will be enough for them. They are such nice human beings and always very helpful and accommodating. No tasks were a problem for them. Location was excellent and close to Katubia and various Souks. Pick up for all excursions was near Dar Moha restaurant which was literally 3mins walk from the Riad. Riad itself was very welcoming, refreshing and very well kept and spacious for a group of 8.

Cons: Hot water was a bit patchy. If more than one person was taking shower then hot water supply was strained.

A really nice place to stay but the staff really made it exceptional!

Pros: The staff where really exceptional! Everything was very well taken care off and we were treated so well. All the breakfasts and the two dinners we had there where also of very high quality, better than most resturants we visited. The house is well maintained and equipped and the pool was just large and deep enough for our kids to swim a little and play around in.

Cons: On the last day we had to pay for our dinner / drinks etc. and it could only be done with cash which was slighly annoying since it was hard to find an ATM where you could withdraw larger amounts.

Beautiful Riad but Staff will Con You!

Pros: it is a stunning riad, very beautifully decorated and the location was good. the swimming pool was an added bonus for the children. All rooms were of a good size and had an en suite shower. The terrace is a gorgeous place to hang out in the evenings. Staff are very friendly.

Cons: The mattresses are not comfortable. The breakfast was just ok. The dinner / lunch is very overpriced. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and charged 100 euros for dinner which consisted of salad for starter, tagine for dinner and tart for dessert. children ate very little and the rest were eaten by staff. the in house massage was charged 45 euros for an hour massage wasn't great and for my children's massage of 20 minutes was also charged at the same rate which was a big con!! the transfers are charged at 250 dirhams which is a massive con! better to organise yourself and haggle the price. the staff will at every occasion try to pocket extra cash for themselves and appear sweet on the outside. BEWARE OF THIS. EVERYONE IS OUT TO CON YOU.
