Riad Dar Fanny

Pros: Well-maintained Riad at a great location in the old city centre - with very friendly staff. Super clean rooms, bed was made everyday with fresh towels. Suberb breakfast every morning, and the available dinner was amazing as well! Matress was initially very (very) hard, but after mentioning this, the staff did their best to adjust it until it was perfect (it was stated in their in-room booklet that guests should mention it if the matress or pillows were too hard). We told the staff that we really enjoyed the jam at breakfast - and then, at our last day they even gave us a pot of jam to take home. What a service!

Cons: Even though the riad is in the city centre, and noise can be expected - the room is still reeally noisey. You can expect to hear everything that happens in the street, and get woken up by the neighbouring mosque prayer from 6:30 to 7:00. The earplugs are nice, but investing in a well-isolated window would definitly be worth it. After 6 nights you sort-of get used to it, but still.. And as amazingly friendly the staff were, guests are not always up for a full conversation after a busy day. Would recommend to lean into the social antenna a bit more. Finally, every morning asking 'how was your night' started to get a bit awkward after 6 days. Again, nothing big to complain about - just some well-meaned tips.

Pros: This property is simply stunning in every way. Much thought has been given to the decor, collection of artefacts, comfort of the guests, and it is in the best location to explore the old city. The staff attended to our every need with delight, and passion for this beautiful and peaceful environment. Dinner served in house was superb!

Cons: Impossible to find anything we did not like!

Pros: Beautiful riad in a central location, with very easy access to the main souks and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and help with booking hamams, taxis etc - a huge thank you to Etienne, Ayub and Abdul in particular for this. The room was more spacious than expected and beautifully decorated. The riad also offers a nice rooftop seating area for breakfast, with a small plunge pool and peaceful area to relax.

Cons: Only minor comment is the room was quite dark (given the riad layout), with only a small window - some additional lamps could help with getting ready!

Pros: The Riad is a rare find. Everything from the decor to customer service is sheer quality. I must emphasise the Riad is outstandingly beautiful. I truly felt welcomed from the moment I arrived - the staff were very professional and super friendly. Food was exceptionally tasty and prepared with love. I also was very impressed with their airport transfer service (I got ready much earlier for departure and the driver was already there waiting). I very much look forward to going back soon.

Charming place with great service

Pros: The Riad is as described in many positive reviews and a charming place to stay. The main advantage is the personal attention of staff and by Fanny. It starts with the arrival. I strongly advise to use their transport service. The taxi drive will call the reception and you will be picked up by a team member at the meeting point and brought to the Riad. They are also helpful with whatever you need in Marrakech, from booking restaurants or hammams to taxis, even when you get lost somewhere in town. The Riad is in walking distance to many of the main attractions.

A wonderful riad

Pros: What a place! We were met with warmth and flexibility from when we stepped through the door. Riad has just been freshly renovated - high class all the way, and fantastic beds.. Beautiful rooms and lovely breakfast. A place for return to.
