Riad Sala Art Marrakech

Short stay but very enjoyable!

Pros: We liked Riad Sala art very much! A very cool interior. The location is very good, in the heart of the medina, and yet very calm. The host, Ali, was always reachable both before and during our stay and was willing to help and share the best tips! We booked our transfer from the airport, and it was very helpful! Breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop of another Riad, but it is very near Sala Art.

Cons: The hot water in the shower runs out very quickly, so you need to shower fast!

Great place

Pros: Hosts Simo and Ali, oh my god how great people!!! 10/10 service. Picked us up every morning to breakfast and guided back to riad! Breakfast was really good! Location 10/10. Taxi service from/to airport worked well and there was even a guy to carry our luggage from taxi to riad (approx 200m), taxi cannot stop in front of riad so you have to walk a bit. Thank you Ali and Simo!

Cons: - Wifi connection poor/none at rooftop terrace (would maybe help if router was located better?)

Pros: Lovely Riad in a quiet area, only a few minutes walk to the main square. The rooms are big with lovely high ceilings and very tastefully decorated, some original timber ceilings and frescos. Had our own rooftop terrace, lovely to sit out in the evenings. Very clean, fresh towels provided every day. We got a great Moroccan breakfast every morning, pancakes, different breads, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, spreads, tea/coffee. This was one of the highlights of the holiday. The owner Ali is very friendly and kind, he gave us lots of information on living in Marrakech, tips on what to see and where to eat He organised our airport transfer for us and we booked buggy rides in La Palmarmaie through him. Highly recommend this Riad, we would love to come back.

Exceptional Riad!

Pros: Ali is the most exceptionally kind and wonderful host out there. His Riad is also just as exceptional. It is situated perfectly (within the walled city) within walking distance from anywhere and everywhere you might wish to go. It is also beautiful (in fact, perhaps more than some of the sights on Tripadvisor), spacious, and luxurious. I couldn't recommend this Riad more.

Best local experience!

Pros: Amazing experience! You do not need a travel agency when you stay in Riad. The host organized us all transfers which is essential to find the place. We were literally carried back and forth to the Riad. We received great recommendations on where to eat and about the sightseeing. Local breakfast on the rooftop was excellent. Our own Riad had private rooftop just for our family.

Pros: Amazing host, very helpful, great breakfast and spacious and central appartment in quiet area.

Pros: Staying at this Riad felt like staying at a family home. The attention and care from the beginning until the end of our stay were truly amazing. The location of the Riad is fantastic. I highly recommend it! Many thanks to Simo and Ali.

Exceptional Hospitality at a Beautiful Riad

Pros: Loved the Riad! The hosts were incredibly attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting Ali, a true gentleman, who welcomed us warmly and spoke with pride about the Riad, which was originally his grandmother’s home. From meeting us in the parking lot and guiding us to the Riad, to taking us for a beautiful rooftop breakfast and showing us around the neighborhood, his hospitality was outstanding. Even when we were leaving, he arranged for someone to help with our luggage and escort us to our car. He even texted me afterward to make sure we made it home safely. The location was perfect, and our only regret was not staying longer. We’ll definitely be back!

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: We stayed at Riad Sala Art Marrakech as a family of four and had a fantastic experience. The riad offered plenty of space for everyone, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the main attractions of the city. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, and the traditional Moroccan breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
