Cozy & Bright Apartment with a Panoramic View

A wonderful stay with an exceptional host , highly recommended

Pros: The apartment was very clean, spacious and exactly as shown in the pictures. The panoramic view from the window over the Djebel gueliz was stunning, and the location was convenient for exploring Marrakech. Hamza was an amazing host, very friendly, responsive and helpful with tips and recommendations.

Wonderful stay in the new part of Marrakesh

Pros: The view was amazing and the property set right next to the Mosque so the call to prayer was beautifully echoing through the apartment. The large windows allowed a fantastic scene and lots of fresh air. The kitchen was complete with everything needed and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cons: Although the water got hot, the shower head barely dribbled water out on the hot setting. It only flowed out when set to cold. This meant I had to boil hot water each day to shower properly. While not a complaint, it is definitely something I think could be or should be fixed for future guests who probably would get upset by this.

Pros: The best parts of the property were the kind and super helpful host, Hamza, and the view of city. The large bed was also comfortable, the internet was good, and it was nice to have a space to cook, a full-size fridge, and a washing machine. Also convenient to have an elevator when taking luggage up and down. Neighborhood full of supermarkets and other conveniences.

Cons: Be forewarned - the apartment is right across the street from a mosque, and the minaret speakers are just about level with the apartment itself 😆 This is probably a bigger issue in the summer, when the sun rises earlier, but with the sun not rising til 7:30am it wasn’t that big of a deal that the mosque would sound around 6:00 for 3 minutes. Also, the afternoon sun is quite strong and heats up the place unless you close the curtains and crank up the AC in the afternoon. Even still, it can get pretty hot. Finally, because it’s on the 5th floor, the water pressure in the shower isn’t great. It’s also quite a ways from the medina. However, despite these quirks, I would stay here again because the host was so kind! He even brought me medicine when I was sick.
